Three Tune Tuesday #131: Latin Swing [ESP-ENG] by edwardstobia
Hola amigos || Hello friends
We continue with this great initiative where it is not only about recommending songs, but also about remembering those classic melodies that have traveled the world and are part of history. Once again I want to mention three women who are undoubtedly important pieces of the industry, art and entertainment.
In this world of art there are millions of lovers and some more than others have left a great mark, a great legacy. To remember them is to relive time immemorial, of those that today we undoubtedly miss very much. I have always said it and I keep it. Today there are incredible artists who have given us great shows, songs and history, while others are just decorations on the cake. As you know, women have been active participants in all areas of society, including culture and the arts, and for several decades they have been respected and remembered beyond what is routinely said about them. Today I want to remember together with you these three songs by women who, I repeat, have won the hearts of the world, of music and its history.
Women have shown the world that they are prepared for the musical profession and to break the erroneous vanity that only men possess the gifts of art and intellect and I can honestly say that there are voices that will never be forgotten. As for example these that today we are going to remember. Surely they can even dance and if they want to, there is no one who is going to stop them.
I want to start this musical journey with one of the most recognized songs in the world. Of course, all the artists I will mention have their power and well earned recognition, but undoubtedly, one of the songs that has traveled the most on this planet is Mi Tierra by the great Gloria Estefan. And although the song is not originally hers, it was her voice that gave it that stamp that marked a before and after of the artist. Gloria was and is considered one of the brightest Latin stars and winner of several Grammy awards among others.
And we continue paying tribute to these great women and this time we go with the Queen of Salsa, the popular Celia Cruz. Who doesn't remember that popular shout that even today is still in fashion. Yes, Sugar... That's what that beautiful black woman shouted, with an incredible talent not only in music but also as a person because she dedicated herself to many other careers and each one of them achieved her goal. There is no doubt that you will always be the true Queen of salsa and I want to remember you with this great classic. I must confess that there are so many Celia's songs that we could make a new book for a new musical history but I have decided for one that was always played at home when they were dancing. Que le den candela" my uncle used to say when he turned on the music and gave it the right volume so that the whole urbanization danced.
Here we will make a radical change and to begin with I was thinking of putting in this box the talented Laura Pausini but my friend and musical brother @jesuslnrs beat me to it ha ha ha ha.... So let's talk about one of the women who is still giving us something to talk about. And that for those who don't know her, this Colombian star is one of the most successful in Latin America and the world. But actually I liked her much more when she started her career which I considered a little rocker and as it is my favorite musical style she was one of those women that I could not stop admiring especially for the fresh rhythm that she gave us. There are many songs that we could remember such as: ¿Dónde están los ladrones, Pies Descalzos, among others. But I want to place here one of my favorites, Inevitable. So release it Dj
It has been a pleasure for me to share with you these great songs that are part of my memories, of history. I was very pleased to share in this initiative with you and I am sure we will see each other next #ThreeTuneTuesday.
me despido, mi querida familia.

I don't know any of these songs, but I think these three women are truly great singers and artists. Especially Celia Cruz. I compare her to a Turkish singer and artist. 😀
I assure you that if you didn't know them you will begin to love them for the great art they made and above all for the great legacy they have left behind. Thank you my friend and I hope you enjoyed my presentation in this edition of TTT 🤟🏼
Hey, if you want to be eligible for the contest don't forget to mention me @ablaze (founder of Three Tune Tuesday) in the post... Thanks and great tunes by the way
I will still enter you for week 131 that I am doing now.
Also, remember to get around to my #ttt post and others and support the community.
