Three Tune Tuesday #129: Ladies of music [ESP-ENG] by edwardstobia
Hola amigos || Hello friends
I am very sorry for my delay in joining this initiative that has a great flavor and has been adding as another of the great and beautiful initiatives we have in this great ecosystem. I applaud the great work that @ablaze has been doing. There are already 129 and will continue to be added and of course it deserves to be celebrated. I must confess that I was always attracted to this initiative, I was curious but I was always a little afraid to join but today my decision was strong and here you read me, sharing with you in this beautiful initiative.
Every morning when I wake up I listen to music. I think it's the first thing I do in the morning, sometimes with a cup of coffee or sometimes just me and the music. I'm not much of a coffee lover, but I do enjoy it when I drink it. Anyway, today YouTube threw me a playlist from an era that undoubtedly have written a great history in the world of music. In the 90s there was a very interesting rock and pop movement with bands and artists who knew how to win over the public with their art. The 90s are part of my life and of course music has a lot to do with that. I found myself at the stage where I had to define the genre of my preference and I was totally inclined to Pop and Rock. As I mentioned a long time ago, it all starts with a record that an uncle gave me as a gift. Nothing more and nothing less than R.E.M - Out of̲ ̲T̲i̲me. But today I will not tell you about them.
Women in the world of music have been a great artistic figure beyond being mothers, wives or partners, workers and emotional support of the home, they are able to create art and have been a great source of inspiration for many. Many of them have gone through so many inconveniences and attacks on their person that they have had to take other paths. But the music lives on in them and even today some of the ones I will mention today are part of the musical history of the 90s. Let's start with the great Alanis Morissette who to this day continues to shine as the big star. Her last work was in 2022 with the album ¨The Storm Before the Calm¨ But it won't be a song from this album. I would like to remember one of the artist's classics.
This is one of the most remembered songs of the artist that talks about the irony of life. A song that had a massive success turning Jagged little pill into the best selling debut album of a female artist in history. A song that undoubtedly goes very well with our daily lives given the fact that we are almost always facing some ironic situation. Didn't you go back to the 90s with this song?
We continue in the 90s and this time with one of the songs that marked the era in global rock. This song was undoubtedly the one that catapulted the band to fame and it certainly has feeling, passion, courage, and a great story to tell. When I first heard this band it was because of this hit and really yes, they didn't have many songs that could be compared to this great No Doubt classic, I'm talking about Don't Speak.
We go a little further ahead and approach 2006 with one of the most recognized voices in the world. A woman who not only left a story to tell, but who left a huge legacy with her great artistry, enthusiasm and energy. In this song the artist poignantly expresses Amy's suffering, pain and feeling, blending perfectly in a soulful rhythm with 60s vibes. Wow without a doubt my favorite song
It has been a pleasure for me to share with you these great songs that are part of my memories, of history. I was very pleased to share in this initiative with you and I am sure we will see each other next #ThreeTuneTuesday.
me despido, mi querida familia.
All three of these songs are great songs, but I like Amy Winehouse's Back to Black the most.
I listen to this song regularly and I usually feel very strange while listening to it. This song makes people think that they are being deceived. 😊
I see everyone loved my selection, but especially Amy's Goddess. Yes, I too when I hear it I feel like I'm on another planet. Thanks for the visit brother🤘
