Seleccionar solo tres talentos para nuestra lista semanal del Hive Music Festival siempre es un reto, dada la increíble calidad de las actuaciones que se presentan en este escenario y lo mejor de todo es que cada semana los mismos artistas saben seguir sorprendiéndonos. No hay duda de que los artistas simbolizan a la perfección la misión del festival y la comunidad: mostrar el mejor talento musical de Hive y fomentar una comunidad solidaria y responsable. Sé que en este nuevo año conoceremos muchísimas más estrellas. ¡Así será! Como siempre digo, que la música nos siga uniendo.

Selecting just three talents for our weekly Hive Music Festival list is always a challenge, given the incredible quality of the performances on this stage. Best of all, every week the same artists continue to surprise us. There is no doubt that the artists perfectly symbolize the mission of the festival and the community: to showcase the best musical talent from Hive and foster a supportive and responsible community. I know that in this new year we will meet many more stars. That's how it will be! As I always say, may music continue to unite us.

La música es esencial en nuestras vidas y dicho esto, ¡empecemos con mi selección de la semana N°181 del HMF donde cada artista brilla con luz propia!

We are grateful for all the support we have received in putting on the Hive Music Festival and, of course, for bringing music, a universal art form, to every corner of Hive. Music is essential in our lives, and with that said, let's get started with my selection for week 181 of HMF, where each artist shines with their own unique light!

Tu intepretación ha sido magica, tranquila y perfecta. Tu elección ha sido la indicada y sé a lo que me refiero, a veces, intepretamos canciones que creemos nos va bien, y no es que lo estemos haciendo mal, es que no es completamente nuestro estilo, aquellos que nos hace expresar el arte con mayor comodidad. Aquí te sentí plenamente tranquilo, controlado y expresando con una mezcla de dulcura y coraje lo que la letra nos describe. Para mí, estupenda presentación!!

Your performance was magical, serene, and flawless. You made the right choice, and I know exactly what I mean: sometimes we perform songs we think suit us well, and it’s not that we’re doing a bad job—it’s just that they aren’t quite our style, the kind that lets us express our art with the greatest ease. Here, I felt you were completely at ease, in control, and expressing what the lyrics describe with a blend of tenderness and courage. For me, a fantastic performance!!

Seguimos con mi seleccion y continuamos con @favourstrings quien con su interpretación tan impecable nos ha dejado un WOW en nuestras bocas. Se nota que logró conectarse profundamente con el mensaje de la canción y aunque su versión es bastante diferente a la original eso no está mal, el artista lleva la canción a donde se siente más cómodo y allí es donde logra conectar con mucha fe, convicción y sentimiento. La manera en que sostuviste las partes clave del coro hizo que la letra se sintiera todavía más poderosa, y se escuchó un enfoque claro en que no era solo cantar la canción, sino adorar y compartir esperanza con el público. Merecidos aplausos amigo!

We’re continuing with my picks, and next up is @favourstrings, whose flawless performance left us speechless. It’s clear that he connected deeply with the song’s message, and even though his version is quite different from the original which isn’t a bad thing the artist takes the song to where he feels most comfortable, and that’s where he truly connects with great faith, conviction, and emotion. The way you held the key parts of the chorus made the lyrics feel even more powerful, and there was a clear focus on not just singing the song, but worshiping and sharing hope with the audience. Well-deserved applause, my friend!

Tenemos al maestro @orlandogonzalez con un ¡Excelente trabajo! No solo en ejecución de la flauta si no, en composición. Se nota que interpretó la obra con mucho cuidado y sensibilidad. La ejecución es limpia, el ritmo está muy bien llevado y se percibe una intención clara en cada pasaje. Además, lograste transmitir la emoción del tema de forma natural. Felicidades, quedo muy bien en conjunto. Merecidos aplausos maestro!!

We have the master @orlandogonzalez with an excellent performance! Not only in his flute playing, but also in composition. It’s clear that he performed the piece with great care and sensitivity. The playing is clean, the rhythm is well-maintained, and a clear intention is evident in every passage. Furthermore, you managed to convey the emotion of the piece naturally. Congratulations—it came together beautifully. Well-deserved applause, maestro!!
