Esta es una historia que puedo contar muchísimas veces y no me cansaré pues después de todo, hay que sentirse orgulloso de lo que logramos por nuestros propios méritos. La lucha constante de mejorar, la constancia que fui aprendiendo en el camino, las lágrimas porque todo sacrificio siempre tendrá su parte difícil porque hay quienes nacen con un don y otro, deben crearlo en su camino y eso no está mal, no quiero hacerlos sentir como si estuviera reprochando lo que menciono, cada uno de nosotros tiene caminos distintos y eso es la precioso de la vida, aprender a valorar lo que somos, la vida misma, nuestros obstáculos y victorias. Como dice uno canción: Tengo el corazón de un viejo boxeador que cayó mil veces y se levantó entendiendo que eso era ser un campeón.

This is a story I could tell over and over again without ever getting tired of it, because, after all, we should be proud of what we’ve achieved through our own efforts. The constant struggle to improve, the perseverance I learned along the way, the tears because every sacrifice will always have its difficult side since some are born with a gift, while others must forge theirs along the way, and that’s not wrong. Esta canción estaba lista desde hace un par de años pero por motivos mayores no me sentía en el momento adecuado para compartir este trabajo con aquellas personas que sin duda han estado muy cerca de mi trabajo y puede sentirse algo egoísta de mi parte pues en la grabación y creación de esta canción hubo una gran participación de músicos que merecían su reconocimiento por su trabajo y quizás lo fui pero no con mala intención eran muchísimas cosas lo que me agobiaba entre tantas la salud de mi mamá. Qué gracias a Dios y todas las oraciones ella está bastante mejor, mejorando cada día. Solo queda poder mantener su control en la parte de salud. Agradezco a cada uno de los que oraron por la recuperación de mi mamá.

This song has been ready for a couple of years, but for reasons beyond my control, I didn’t feel it was the right time to share this work with those who have undoubtedly been very close to my work. It might seem a bit selfish of me, since the recording and creation of this song involved the significant contribution of many musicians who deserved recognition for their work. Perhaps I was being selfish, but it wasn’t out of malice there were so many things weighing on me, among them my mother’s my mom. Thank God and all the prayers, she’s doing much better, improving every day. All that’s left is to keep her health under control. I thank each and every one of you who prayed for my mom’s recovery.

Hace meses junto a Augusto Córdova quien ha sido el productor de cada una de las canciones que he podido grabar tomé ña decisión de que era hora de que Color Ámbar sonará viendo nuevas luces además, ya era hora de darle el agradecimiento a todos los que formaron parte de este nuevo trabajo. Color Ámbar es una canción que nació hace 9 años cuando empezaba a tomar clases con quien se convirtió en más que un tutor, se convirtió en mi hermano de guerras, de música, de anécdotas. Este fue el primer trabajo que logré hacer bajo sus enseñanzas y me recuerdo claramente en aquella pequeña habitación que tenía, con un teclado viejo convirtiendo la música en mi refugio favorito. Nunca olvidare las palabras de mi hermano Wilins ¨Sé que ahora no entiendes el regalo que te estoy dejando, pero pronto lo entenderás¨ Sus enseñanzas hicieron que amara la música desde el corazón y no por afición. Eso, ha sido uno de los regalos más importantes que en la vida he recibido.

Months ago, together with Augusto Córdova who has produced every song I’ve recorded I decided it was time for Color Ámbar to shine in a new light. It was also time to thank everyone who was part of this new project. “Color Ámbar” is a song that was born nine years ago when I started taking lessons with someone who became more than a teacher he became my brother in arms, in music, and in stories. This was the first project I managed to create under his guidance, and I clearly remember that small room I had, with an old keyboard, turning music into my favorite refuge. I’ll never forget the words of my brother Wilins: “I know you don’t understand the gift I’m giving you now, but you’ll understand soon.” His teachings made me love music from the heart, not just as a hobby. That has been one of the most important gifts I’ve ever received in my life.

A veces me preguntan por qué la canción se llama Color Ámbar si no menciono el color en la canción. Tenemos que tener claro que eso no siempre sucede, en ocasiones el nombre conlleva una metáfora de lo que podemos describir en la canción. El ámbar es un color cálido y asociado a la luz del atardecer lo que visualmente evoca una sensación de paz y refugio, lo cual conecta con esa "galaxia ideal" que menciono. Es un color que sin duda nos da esa sensación que nos abraza tal como lo hace la presencia de esa persona hablo en mi canción. Por eso, el titulo de mi canción. Lo que quiero decir es que el título nace de ese instante de pausa luminosa tal como nos sentimos a observar la belleza de un nuevo amanecer. Ese ese momento done todo comience a brillar con más fuerza.

Sometimes people ask me why the song is called “Color Ámbar” if I don't mention the color in the song. We have to understand that this isn't always the case; sometimes the title serves as a metaphor for what we describe in the song. Amber is a warm color associated with the light of sunset, which visually evokes a sense of peace and refuge connecting to that “ideal galaxy” I mention. It’s a color that undoubtedly gives us that feeling of being embraced, just as the presence of the person I speak of in my song does. That’s why I chose this title for my song. What I mean is that the title stems from that moment of luminous pause just as we feel when observing the beauty of a new dawn. That moment when everything begins to shine more brightly.

Pero en fin, quiero que como ha pasado desde hace 8 años, ustedes también sean parte de mis éxitos, de mis canciones. Y es hora de presentarles mi nueva canción la cual sé que alguno de ustedes la esperaban con ansias para seguir en este viaje donde muchos junto a mis se embarcaron convirtiendo cada sentimiento en canción.
