During these days I was quite attentive to the presentations, which were sharing the musicians who have taken the stage of the Hive Music Festival in this new week. I was impressed with the musical quality that has managed to incorporate the community with this festival.

For my participation I did not have to go so far this time, I bring you a song that I have been strumming on the guitar for a long time, eager to sing it, finally getting the chance to cover it. The song that I bring you and leave for your consideration is: "Un beso y una flor" by the singer Nino Bravo, a song that was and will always be a hymn to love. It is one of my favorites of this artist, although he is not of my generation, but in a way I grew up listening to music from this golden age. Remembered by many as: "the prodigious decade", thanks to the fact that the radio in my country presents a quite varied musical programming.

We knew him thanks to the magic of music as Nino Bravo, but his real name was Luis Manuel Ferri Llopis, a Spanish singer who forged a very successful musical career in the 70's. And although his career was quite brief, after he died in a tragic traffic accident, he left an indelible mark on Spanish music on a universal scale. "Un beso y una flor" is one of his most listened to songs, released in 1972, shortly before his physical disappearance. A romantic ballad that was immortalized in his voice, marked by an era that created its own characteristic styles.

The lyrics of the song show us a romantic story in which an emigrant says goodbye to his love, something that, as never before, is more relevant nowadays. In which many families in various regions of the world have had to say goodbye to a little piece of their heart. The lyrics, in itself, is poetry, it bathes our skin with emotions of nostalgia and hope.
