Hive Open Mic Week 295 "A Different World": Lo mejor ya va a venir - Reik (Cover Song)
Hello #Hive family and music lovers! A new week of Hive Open Mic is upon us. Today I want to share my humble contribution for week #295, with the theme "A Different World".
For this occasion, I chose to perform "Lo mejor ya va a venir" (The best is yet to come) by the Mexican band Reik. A song that, beyond being a romantic ballad, shares a much bigger message: the need for hope, the faith that no matter what happens, the best is yet to come.
In these times, when the world seems to be spinning in the opposite direction, when we sometimes feel that everything is falling apart, this song becomes a triumphant march of resistance and faith. I believe that it is possible to build a different world; we just have to set our minds to it. When I read this week's theme, I immediately thought about what we have been through in recent years.
We have faced pandemics, economic crises from which we seem unable to escape, uncertainties, family separations, and yet, in the midst of all this chaos, we have decided to keep going. We continue to live and create, with all our faith that tomorrow can be better. This cover made me think about that: about that "different world" we try to build every day, every time we choose to get up once again.
Thanks again to the @hiveopenmic community for leading us to reflection through music. Keeping this initiative alive week after week, now in its 295th edition. This space is irrevocable proof that music continues to unite souls even though we are thousands of miles apart.

¡Hola familia de #Hive y amantes de la música! Llegando a nosotros se encuentra una nueva semana del Hive Open Mic. Hoy les quiero compartir mi humilde participación para la semana #295, con el tema “A Different World”.
Para esta ocasión elegí interpretar “Lo mejor ya va a venir”, de los mexicanos Reik. Una canción que, más allá de una balada romántica, nos comparte un mensaje mucho más grande: como la necesidad por la esperanza, la fé en que pase lo que pase, lo mejor está por delante.
En estos tiempos, donde el mundo parece girar en rumbo contrario, donde a veces sentimos que todo se nos desmorona, esta canción se convierte en una marcha triunfal de resistencia y fe. Creo que sí es posible construir un mundo diferente, solo tenemos que proponernoslo. Cuando leí el tema de esta semana, inmediatamente pensé en lo que hemos vivido en estos últimos años.
Hemos enfrentado pandemias, crisis económicas de las cuales parecemos no salir, incertidumbres, separaciones familiares, y aun así, en medio de todo este caos, decidimos seguir en pie. Seguimos viviendo y creando, con toda la fé en que mañana puede ser mejor. Este cover me hizo pensar en eso: en ese “mundo diferente” que intentamos construir a diario, cada vez que elegimos levantarnos una vez más.
Gracias nuevamente a la comunidad @hiveopenmic, por llevarnos a la reflexión mediante la música. Mantiendo viva esta iniciativa semana tras semana, y que ya va por su edición 295. Este espacio es la prueba irrevocable de que la música, sigue uniendo almas a pesar de que estemos a miles de kilómetros.
