Taken down Memory Lane listening to Chopin in Krakow

Brilliant young pianist honoured us with 10 pieces from Chopin

This performer Radoslaw Gozdzikowski, aged 27 was an absolute pleasure to watch and listen to. You can read his accolades on the pamphlet I posted with the songs he played.

On the left the house that Chopin grew up in

Chopin born in Poland but left at an early age and died outside of his country of birth.

I started piano lessons at a very early age. I was only 5 when my brother persuaded his piano teacher Ewa Chojnacki to take me on as her pupil. I was her youngest student.

I will always be grateful to her for her brilliant teaching and would not be where I am in the music world if it were not for her.

With her I competed in many Sanlam Music Competitions in Cape Town - South Africa. from the age of 7.

I also did my Grade 8 piano exam at the age of 10.

Much Love
