Our Weekend Trip to Paternoster
Before going back to Johannesburg in South Africa I wanted to show the beautiful little town of Paternoster on the Western Coast of the Cape to my mother and my brother.
It was the weekend and the weather was wonderful on Friday so we set out early in the morning for our road trip.

Paternoster was still everything I expected. It was like being in another country - all the lovely little houses - all white and with blue shutters (like a Greek island)
After having lunch at the waterfront we booked in and it was like a re-set for all of us - a very peaceful and quiet time. I can honestly say our time there was so incredibly special - like what story books are made of.
After watching a beautiful sunset from our balcony, I sat and worked on my laptop at the dining table, Lee sat reading his kindle and my mom was on her Duolingo learning Spanish.
What a special memory this will be for all of us.
Beautiful sunset

Wow just check out this Airbnb, it is stunning! That is what I also found from my SA trip last year, the level of the lodging is just crazy good and the places to stay are really cute and well thought off.
I didn't get a chance to visit Paternoster but it was also high on the list of options to visit back then :)
Yes, compared to Europe the prices are really good - although Cape town prices are very high now @karinxxl
