Theory of a Deadman Guitar Pick! My Actifit Report Card: June 22 2026
Today we have for you a guitar pick from the band called
Theory of a Deadman

Here's what the front and the back of this guitar pick looks like

Theory of a Deadman (briefly known as Theory during a brief branding shift in 2017) is a highly successful Canadian rock band formed in North Delta, British Columbia, in 2001. Discovered by Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger, who quickly signed them to his 604 Records label, the band blends post-grunge, alternative rock, and alternative metal with a distinct pop sensibility and often wry, cynical lyrics. Led by the charismatic vocals and songwriting of Tyler Connolly, they captured a massive international audience in the mid-to-late 2000s with multi-platinum hits like "Bad Girlfriend," "Santa Monica," and "Not Meant to Be." Known for their heavy guitar riffs, melodic hooks, and storytelling that jumps seamlessly between heartfelt heartbreak and gritty humor, the band has consistently evolved their sound over more than two decades, incorporating elements of pop, country, and acoustic rock into their extensive discography while remaining a powerhouse staple of modern rock radio.
This collection is a remarkable physical record of rock history, featuring a diverse array of guitar picks gathered from some of the most legendary North American tours. Each piece represents a specific moment in time, coming directly from the hands of the most influential touring bands of the last 20 to 40 years. From the thrash metal precision of Megadeth to the grunge-era icons like Eddie Vedder, these picks are more than just gear—they are tangible artifacts from the high-energy arenas and stadiums that defined a generation of music.
The significance of these picks lies in their connection to the peak of live performance culture across the continent. Over the past four decades, touring reached a massive scale, and these picks were used by artists who headlined the most iconic festivals and venues in the world. Whether it's a specialty "Batmobile" design or a classic tour-stamped plectrum, having items from bands that shaped the sound of the 80s, 90s, and 2000s makes this a curated chronicle of modern rock’s touring legacy. I'm putting this guitar pic together. Alphabetical order over the next few weeks and months.
