Rush Guitar Picks! My Actifit Report Card: May 15 2026
Today we have for you guitar picks from the band called
Rush

Here's a look at the front and the back of these guitar picks

The Sonic Evolution of Rush
Formed in Toronto in 1968, Rush cemented its legendary status as one of rock history's most innovative and technically proficient power trios. Comprising bassist/keyboardist/vocalist Geddy Lee, guitarist Alex Lifeson, and virtuoso drummer/lyricist Neil Peart, the band underwent a fascinating sonic evolution. They began as a blues-infused hard rock outfit heavily influenced by Led Zeppelin, but quickly pivoted into progressive rock royalty in the late 1970s with sprawling, conceptually ambitious masterpieces like 2112 and Hemispheres. By the 1980s, Rush successfully adapted to the changing musical landscape by seamlessly integrating synthesizers and reggae-influenced rhythms into their sound, culminating in the massive commercial and critical success of their landmark 1981 album, Moving Pictures.
Intellectual Depth and Lasting Legacy
Beyond their complex time signatures and staggering instrumental prowess, what truly set Rush apart was the intellectual depth of their music. With Neil Peart serving as the primary lyricist, the band tackled profound themes rooted in philosophy, science fiction, fantasy, and individualism—often drawing inspiration from classical literature and libertarian philosophy. This cerebral approach earned them a fiercely dedicated, multi-generational cult following. Despite being frequently overlooked by mainstream critics during their heyday, Rush's undeniable influence on the progressive metal and alternative rock genres ultimately earned them induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013. Following Peart's tragic passing in 2020, the band's legacy remains secure as a testament to uncompromising artistic integrity and musical excellence
Here's what eBay had to say about these two Rush guitar picks!

This collection is a remarkable physical record of rock history, featuring a diverse array of guitar picks gathered from some of the most legendary North American tours. Each piece represents a specific moment in time, coming directly from the hands of the most influential touring bands of the last 20 to 40 years. From the thrash metal precision of Megadeth to the grunge-era icons like Eddie Vedder, these picks are more than just gear—they are tangible artifacts from the high-energy arenas and stadiums that defined a generation of music.
The significance of these picks lies in their connection to the peak of live performance culture across the continent. Over the past four decades, touring reached a massive scale, and these picks were used by artists who headlined the most iconic festivals and venues in the world. Whether it's a specialty "Batmobile" design or a classic tour-stamped plectrum, having items from bands that shaped the sound of the 80s, 90s, and 2000s makes this a curated chronicle of modern rock’s touring legac. I'm putting this guitar pic together. Alphabetical order over the next few weeks and months.

Holy shit! 20k steps and a band from up in my neck of the woods! I think I discovered Rush back in 1983 and was blown away by the epic mythical soundscape of the live All the World is a Stage album. Been a fan ever since.
Awesome steps and addition to your collection!
You've been a fan for a long time! I'm actually a latecomer, I never really got into rush until I did some temporary work for a few months at a shop in Ontario, Canada. The radio they had playing, played a lot of Rush. And I have been a huge fan ever since! One of my favorite bands all time now.
I'm curious to know how you score the 20k
I usually walk my dog two or three times a day!
But most of my steps occur at work, I run a small business, and I am constantly moving. Sitting down at the computer and then getting up and checking stock, moving some material, helping some customers. I'd actually get more steps if like. Didn't forget my phone when I got up from the computer many times during the day.
Plus I like to be active and social during the evenings as well as on weekends.
