Hola, hola....gente hermosa de esta comunidad!💫💥💨

Recién comienzo en este mundo maravilloso y me encantaría explorar sus páginas, invitándolos a reflexionar juntos sobre toda la constancia, la dedicación y el sacrificio que hay detrás de la vida de un artista y que no logramos distinguir en ocasiones mediante un lente.

Somos de Camagüey/ Cuba. Somos músicos... y aquí va nuestro palpitar...

Detrás de todo artista, hay un trabajo silencioso, incansable, que muchos no ven y que comienza por la autogestión.

Ser trovador es un gesto de amor y resistencia. Cada obra culminada, conlleva mucho sacrificio: buscar un estudio (a veces improvisado) coordinar con amigos que apoyen en la grabación, mezclar, editar, y finalmente comenzar el trabajo de promoción. Todo con pocos recursos, pero con una pasión contagiosa.

Las redes sociales se han vuelto herramienta y escenario. Como artista, desde temprana edad comprendí, que existir en el mundo digital, nos torna universales. Hacerse presente en plataformas como Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram, You Tube... abre las puertas del mundo ...

Aprender a editar videos, armar promociones, subir contenido, responder mensajes, y estar siempre "activo", incluso cuando lo que se desea es silencio para componer. La trova, ese arte de lo íntimo y lo poético, se ha visto obligada a navegar a la par, para no naufragar.

Hemos tenido que gestionar peñas mensuales para las que convocamos desde nuestros perfiles, diseñar carteles, escribir invitaciones, hacer transmisiones en vivo, ingeniar conciertos con colaboraciones que nos favorezcan...

El trabajo ha sido incansable en la búsqueda de espacios alternativos: cafés, galerías, eventos, teatros...

El público fiel siempre aparece, aunque sea en grupos pequeños. Poco a poco uno va sumando seguidores verdaderos. Es preferible actuar para 3 personas que valoran en realidad nuestro trabajo, que no para miles de personas introspectivas.

La ciudad, aunque muchas veces difícil, sigue siendo musa y escenario. Mi Camagüey/ Cuba, inspira, pero también reta. Los creadores debemos estar en constante movimiento, entre la musa y el algoritmo. Crear mecanismos y estéticas atractivas, para no renunciar.

En nuestro caso, como músicos, aunque no lo crean, lo más facil resulta escribir las canciones. Díficil es encontrar un productor que se interese por la obra y nos apoye, saber cuándo publicarlas, qué imagen usar, cómo mantener vivo el interés de quienes nos siguen desde lejos...

A veces, el proceso agota, presiona y uno siente ganas de desistir mucha veces pero terminamos adaptándonos, reinventándonos y creciendo.

Con el paso de los años, hemos aprendido y damos fe, de que no hay interacción digital que apague una interacción real, ni red social que sustituya la emoción de una presentación en vivo.
Pero tampoco dejamos de reconocer la importancia de la promoción y la divulgación.

Existen muchas instituciones que trabajan en apoyo al rescate cultural, pero el mayor ímpetu, debe partir de nosotros mismos, de la autogestión.
Tocar puertas, crear espacios, construir desde el vacío, debe constituir una rutina diaria, porque el fruto de esta constancia se traduce en cosechar afectos, formar comunidades y saber que cada paso —por pequeño que parezca— tiene sentido.

Replicar, es una manera más de mantener vivo lo que amamos, de gritarle al mundo que estamos aquí, que resistimos, que somos una comunidad con un fuerte legado histórico y vistas al futuro, apostando todo como acto de fe, de valor, de arte y de resistencia.

Being a troubadour is a gesture of love and resistance. Each completed work entails a lot of sacrifice: finding a studio (sometimes improvised), coordinating with friends to support the recording, mixing, editing, and finally starting the promotional work. All with few resources, but with a contagious passion.

Social networks have become a tool and a stage. As an artist, from an early age I understood that existing in the digital world makes us universal. Becoming present on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram, You Tube, opens the doors of the world...

Learn to edit videos, create promotions, upload content, respond to messages, and always be "active", even when what you want is silence to compose. Trova, that art of the intimate and poetic, has been forced to navigate at the same time, to avoid shipwreck. We have had to manage monthly clubs for which we call from our profiles, design posters, write invitations, make live broadcasts, engineer concerts with collaborations that favor us...

The work has been tireless in the search for alternative spaces: cafes, galleries, events, theaters...

The loyal public always appears, even if it is in small groups. Little by little one adds true followers. It is better to act for 3 people who really value our work, than for thousands of introspective people.

The city, although often difficult, continues to be muse and stage. My Camagüey/Cuba, inspires, but also challenges. We creators must be in constant movement, between the muse and the algorithm. Create attractive mechanisms and aesthetics, so as not to give up.

In our case, as musicians, believe it or not, the easiest thing is to write the songs. It is difficult to find a producer who is interested in the work and supports us, knowing when to publish them, what image to use, how to keep alive the interest of those who follow us from afar...

Sometimes, the process is exhausting, pressuring and one feels like giving up many times but we end up adapting, reinventing ourselves and growing.

Over the years, we have learned and we attest to the fact that there is no digital interaction that turns off a real interaction, nor a social network that replaces the emotion of a live performance.

But we also do not fail to recognize the importance of promotion and dissemination. There are many institutions that work to support cultural rescue, but the greatest impetus must come from ourselves, from self-management.

Knocking on doors, creating spaces, building from emptiness, must constitute a daily routine, because the fruit of this perseverance translates into harvesting affection, forming communities and knowing that each step—no matter how small it may seem—makes sense.

Replying is one more way to keep what we love alive, to shout to the world that we are here, that we resist, that we are a community with a strong historical legacy and views to the future, betting everything as an act of faith, courage, art and resistance.
