Music Monday: Vinyl and CDs on Demand!
Do you have an odd need to hold something physically in your hands? Do you love music? How about holding real music in your hands? Well, now you can!
Kinda.
Over the last four years I produced a few albums as a creative outlet. I was able to find a place to distribute them all to streaming services, in case anyone wants to hear them.
But something was lacking. If you follow me you know I'm a big lover of physical media. Film lasts forever, a real dvd will never be put behind a paywall, a CD can be played without access to internet So it bugged me that my music only exists in 0's and 1's.
Until now! Through some very shrewd advertising I discovered Elasticstage a few weeks ago. They allow "artists" like me to upload music and artwork to be turned into on-demand vinyl and CDs. I'm sure there are other services out there but Elasticstage seems to be the best. Even the hell hole called Reddit has fan posts.
I took the plunge and I have put most of my music on there. I even ordered a test record to see what my fans might get. It's running late....
