Music Monday: Ringo!

It has been a banger year for us and concerts. While seeing Alice Cooper earlier in the year, we saw that Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band were also coming to the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. I have always been a huge Beatles fan, unfortunately they aren't getting any younger. John died before I was born, George died before I had any money, a long time ago I saw Paul McCartney in D.C. so that left Ringo as the final Beatle I could or needed to see.

Ringo tours with his "All Starr Band" which sometimes varies in membership. This tour the band consists of Steve Lukather of Toto, Colin Hay of Men at Work (he was sick for our show and didn't perform), Warren Ham of Toto and Kansas, Hamish Stuart of Average White Band, Gregg Bissonette (studio musician) and Buck Johnson (also studio musician).

Since the concert was in the same place as last time, the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, the same camera rules applied. I snuck my old Nikon bridge camera in there with its 40x zoom and snapped away.

Our seats weren't great but luckily they allowed us to move into the walkway below, closer and less blocked by spotlight operators.

We really enjoyed the show. Now I just wish Paul McCartney tickets were cheaper and closer!
