Hey everyone! 👋

I'm Dovydas. I'm 12 years old and I love singing. I live in Den Haag and I share my covers and live performances on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.

Today I want to tell you about one of my favourite performances so far.

The song

A while ago I discovered "Die On This Hill" by Sienna Spiro. I loved it straight away. It's emotional, it's powerful, and it really makes you feel something when you sing it.

I kept listening to it over and over, and I thought: I really want to sing this live one day.

So I did. 😊

The day at Theater Dakota

On 4 September I performed at Open Huis Dakota & ZUID57 at Theater Dakota in Den Haag. It was a big open day — people could walk in for free, there were workshops, music, and lots of things to see.

I sang on the café podium from 18:00 to 18:15. Only 15 minutes, but I was so excited (and a little bit nervous too, if I'm honest 😅).

When I walked on stage and the music started, I just tried to feel the song and sing from my heart. That's what I always try to do.

How it felt

Singing live is different from singing at home or in my room. There are real people watching you. You can't stop and start again. You just have to go for it.

And I loved it.

"Die On This Hill" is not an easy song, but that's what I like about it. It challenges me. Every time I sing it, I understand the song a little bit more.
