This week I want to share about a song from John Lennon - Imagine. Through an interview with a magazine, Lennon admitted that the idea for this song came from a friend named Dick Gregory giving Ono a Christian spiritual book. From there, he became interested in writing lyrics containing prayers.

John wrote Imagine in 1971. Accompanied by his wife, Yoko Ono, John concocted all the melodies, chord structures, and almost all the lyrics. In just one write, John managed to complete the song "imagine"

According to John, "Imagine" is an anti-religion, anti-nationalism, anti-conventional and anti-capitalism song. In fact, this song has many pros and cons, but one thing I like about this song is that John invites us to live in peace, there is no war in the world. As we all know, until now war still exists, colonialism between countries, and genocide still occur in this world. Do not know until when. I don't even know. I hope this ends soon.
