"Libre" (Free) Vibes Web 3 Week 6

Hello community. This great contest created by @lordbutterfly now reaches its 6th week. Musicians from all continents can interact here and every week we learn more. I love it when I see musicians from places far away from me perform tunes on musical instruments I didn't know existed.

This week I want to participate with the song. "Libre" (Free) which was popularized in the 70s by the Argentine singer Nino Bravo.

This song was composed in 1972 by José Luis Armenteros and Pablo Herrero. Many people think it talks about Peter Fechter, the first German to die trying to cross the Berlin Wall. However, but, Pablo Herrero denied this version, saying that at the time he wrote the song he was living in Spain and experiencing the hazards of Francisco Franco's dictatorship. That he did not need to look towards Germany since the lack of freedom was being experienced in Spain. In fact, the song was released after the death of Francisco Franco on November 20, 1975.

Freedom is a need for every living being; unfortunately, power is often in the hands of those who do not respect the right of others to be free.

I dedicate my song to all the people who suffer from the lack of freedom because in their countries they have dictatorial regimes, whether declared or hidden, disguised, dissimulated.

Hola, comunidad. Ya este estupendo concurso creado por @lordbutterfly llega a su semana 6. Músicos de todos los continentes podemos interactuar acá y cada semana aprendemos más. Me encanta cuando veo a músicos de lugares remotos para mí interpretar melodías con instrumentos musicales que no sabía que existían.

Esta semana deseo participar con la canción. "Libre" la cual fue popularizada en la década del 70 por el cantante argentino Nino Bravo. Esta canción fue compuesta, en 1972, por José Luis Armenteros y Pablo Herrero. Muchas personas piensan que habla acerca de Peter Fechter, el primer alemán que murió al intentar cruzar el Muro de Berlín. Sin embargo, Pablo Herrero, desmintió está versión diciendo que en la época en que escribió el tema vivía en España y experimentaba los azares de la dictadura de Francisco Franco. Qué no necesitaba mirar hacia Alemania ya que en España se estaba viviendo la falta de libertad. De hecho la canción se dio a conocer fue después de la muerte de Francisco Franco acaecida el 20 de noviembre de 1975.

La libertad es una necesidad de todo ser vivo, lamentablemente muchas veces el poder está en manos de quienes no respetan el derecho de los otros a ser libres.

Dedico mi canción a todas las personas que sufren por la falta de libertad porque en sus países tienen regímenes dictatoriales, sean estos declarados o solapados, disfrazados, disimulados.
