Hello everyone Vibes community! For this week 8 in which we must honor the music of the 60s, I want to share with you the iconic song "Mi Viejo" which is a song that was released in 1969 and corresponds to the album of the same name that until the date is very popular in Latin America, it was composed by Piero Antonio who was born in Italy but settled in Argentina.
This song is very heartfelt and nostalgic, dedicated to parents who are aging. The lyrics tell how the son sees that his father is becoming slower, age and time have taken their toll on him and he does not forgive. It seems to me that this song is already an anthem of nostalgia for those of us who see how life does not stop and makes the people we love the most wither, within us. We want parents to be eternal but life begins and ends.
