Warm greetings to all those great artists that week after week give life to this place, it is week 22 and it is an honor to be here sharing with great musicians and those who are joining each week, we hope it continues to grow to realize that it is a place full of opportunities where they can show themselves and give all their talent.
This week I bring you a song from 1978, from the great prince of the song, who we love in Latin America. Listening to this song makes me very nostalgic not only for its message but also because this poet is no longer on this earthly plane, we are grateful for his musical legacy, José José José is an icon and many of his songs are an anthem.
“Lo que un día fue no será” is a very sad song that talks about a love that happened and that is impossible to recover, I take this lyric not only as a love that is over but also as part of learning to let go not only people but also stages of our lives, experiences, places and what we were before as people. To hold on to it is not the right thing to do, we should not fall prey to the past and live from what was or what happened. Closing cycles is part of life.
