Hive Music Festival Week 138 - Round 3 // Héroe (Ukelele and voice cover)
Happy beginning of the week friends, I hope you are very well. Today it is a pleasure to introduce myself here, you know it is my favorite place and I am grateful for so much love. I love to see every week the genuine support you give me added to all that talent and it is a total honor to share with you what we like and we have in common, this day I come with a song that is quite old but still valid for fans of this great Spanish singer who was an icon in the 90s and 2000s, this is Enrique Iglesias, who with his voice not only conquered the Spanish public but also all Latin American, although I see that is not as active as in those decades, his music continues to be very important and truly unique.
That is why today I gladly bring you “Héroe” which also has a very good English version. I of course decided to go with the Spanish version. It seems to me a beautiful lyric full of deep feelings towards someone you love and you want to do everything for her, save and protect that loved one from any danger. Although I read that maybe the lyrics go beyond an everyday love if not to be someone as protective as God or Jesus Christ.
Feliz inicio de semanas amigos, espero estén muy bien. El día de hoy es un gusto presentarme acá, ya saben que es mi lugar favorito y estoy agradecida por tanto cariño brindado. Me encanta ver cada semana el apoyo genuino que me brindan sumado a todo ese talento que hay y es un honor total poder compartir junto a ustedes lo que nos gusta y tenemos en común, este día les vengo con una canción que ya tiene bastantes años pero sigue vigente para los fans de esta gran cantante español que fue un icono en los años 90s y 2000s, se trata de Enrique Iglesias, quien con su voz no solo conquistó el público español si no también todo el latinoamericano, aunque veo que no está tan activo como en aquellas décadas, su música continúa siendo muy importante y verdaderamente única.
Es por eso que hoy con gusto les traigo "Héroe" la cual también cuenta con una versión en inglés muy buena. Yo por supuesto me decidí con la versión en español. Me parece una letra preciosa llena de sentimientos profundos hacia alguien quien amas y quieres hacer todo por ella, salvar y proteger a ese ser amado de cualquier peligro. Aunque leí que quizás la letra vaya más allá de un amor cotidiano si no ser alguien tan protector como Dios o Jesús Cristo.

I dared to bring it this week and give you my version as best I could, I felt it could have been better, but I have had some personal issues that have not allowed me to practice properly, however, I hope that even so it has been as decent as possible because this place deserves that we always make the best effort and grow every day as musicians, I always try to learn and improve. Yo me atreví a traerla esta semana y darle mi versión lo mejor que pude, sentí que pudo quedar mejor, pero he tenido unos temas personales que no me ha permitido practicar debidamente, sin embargo, espero que aun así haya quedado lo más decente posible ya que este lugar merece que siempre se haga el mejor esfuerzo y crezcamos cada día más como músicos, yo siempre trato de ir aprendiendo y mejorando.
