When I Was Your Man - Bruno Mars (Cover by ILAZ) | VIBES WEB 3 MUSIC COMPETITION - WEEK 33
Welcome back to my blog, guys! Today I'm happy because the VIBES contest is back, created by @lordbutterfly with @verbal-d and @silentscreamer as jurors, it's a contest where you are eligible to win a very epic prize on HBD, for more info you can read this post.
This week has no theme, so I decided to bring a song that I've been putting off for a long time due to personal issues, but I was finally able to make the effort to do it and I really loved the final result.
Now, having said that, let's talk a little bit about the song and why it all worked out.

Esta semana no tiene temática, así que decidí traer una canción que he estado postergando durante mucho tiempo por temas personales, pero por fin pude hacer el esfuerzo de hacerla y realmente me encantó mucho el resultado final.
Ahora, dicho esto, hablemos un poco sobre la canción y el porqué de todo.
The Song
For this week there is a special theme which is to sing a song that is not in your native language, so I went for When I Was Your Man by Bruno Mars, a song that is not really in my vocal range, so I had to look for an instrumental that was in a lower key and I got this one and it worked well for me.
This song has very painful lyrics and I decided to give it a very heartfelt interpretation and for that I used my voice with the strumming technique to emphasize that pain, it's a complicated technique, especially to keep high notes, but I feel I did it well and without hurting myself, so I hope you enjoy this performance.
La Canción
Para esta semana hay una temática especial que consiste en cantar una canción que no esté en tu idioma nativo, por lo que me decidí por When I Was Your Man de Bruno Mars, una canción que ralmente no está dentro de mi rango vocal, así que tuve que buscar una instrumental que estuviera en unos tonos más bajos y conseguí esta y me funcionó bien.
Esta canción tiene una letra muy dolorosa y decidí darle una interpretación muy sentida y para ello utilicé mi voz con la técnica de rasgueo para darle énfasis a ese dolor, es una técnica complicada, sobretodo para mantener agudos, pero siento que lo hice bien y sin hacerme daño, por lo que espero que disfruten este performance.
