Welcome back to my blog, guys! Today I bring you my classic weekly music review, today, and for the sixth time, I bring you one of my favorite Venezuelan artists for a long time, Lasso.
Currently he won a Latin Grammy for the first time (more than deserved) and I feel that little by little people are recognizing his great career and his ability to make songs that transcend, today I bring you some hits he has released recently because each story is too powerful and has meant a lot to me today.
So, without further ado, let's get to it!
¡Bienvenidos de nuevo a mi blog, chicos! El día de hoy les traigo mi clásica reseña musical de cada semana, el día de hoy, y por sexta vez, les traigo como temática a uno de mis artistas venezolanos favorito desde hace mucho tiempo como lo es Lasso.
Actualmente ganó un Grammy latino por primera vez (más que merecido) y siento que poco a poco las personas están reconociendo su gran trayectoria y su capacidad para hacer canciones que trasciendan, hoy les traigo algunos éxitos que ha lanzado de forma reciente porque cada historia es demasiado poderosa y ha significado mucho para mí en la actualidad.
Así que, sin más que agregar, ¡a darle!
1.- Feliz Por Ti
I begin the top with this GREAT THEME that I really feel that can identify more than one and today makes me feel very much at ease because of how strong the lyrics are; all my life I have been a kind of "teaching" for people who have passed through my life, generally they reach the maximum potential in all areas when they are with me and then they end up leaving to do everything I always wanted them to do with the next person who touches them in their lives.
Already that fact I don't take it personally, because I feel like it's like a mission that has to happen and I just enjoy the present, but this lyric from the start really digs deep into the wound with this theme, how it shows you the concept that something changed in that person since they left and you weren't the one responsible for it, it's difficult.
The most complicated thing about this song is what it sounds in the chorus, because yes, in the end you end up being happy for that person who leaves in part, because you know that they were not going to be happy with you, it is a complicated subject captured in a very concrete way in a song.
Comienzo el top con este TEMAZO que realmente siento que puede identificar a más de uno y hoy en día me hace darme muy por aludido por lo fuerte que es la letra; toda mi vida he sido una especie de "enseñanza" para las personas que han transitado mi vida, generalmente alcanzan el máximo potencial en todo ámbito cuando están conmigo y luego se terminan yendo para hacer todo lo que siempre quise que hicieran con la próxima persona que les toca en sus vidas.
Ya ese hecho no lo tomo personal, porque siento que es como una misión que tiene que suceder y simplemente disfruto el presente, pero esta letra desde que empieza hunde mucho el dedo en la herida con este tema, como te muestra el concepto de que algo cambió en esa persona desde que se fue y no fuiste tú el responsable de ello, es difícil.
Lo más complicado de esta canción es lo que suena en el estribillo, porque sí, uno al final termina siendo feliz por esa persona que se va en parte, porque sabes que no iba a ser feliz contigo, es un tema complicado plasmado de forma muy concreta en una canción.
2.- Todo Regresa
This song is like the continuation of the previous one mentioned and it is very crazy because I really believe that things do not really come back, because, in the same way, if time goes by and a person who was with you, gets involved with you again, that person is not really the same person you knew, so he is not really "coming back", he is just living another stage of his life where he decides to choose you.
One of the mistakes we humans make is to live stuck in the past and always wishing that things "go back to the way they were" but that illusion does not exist, the past is gone and if one can repair things, it is best to move forward and leave the pain behind, accepting what separated people is the first step to unite them again.
The day one understands and learns this, is the day when life begins to weigh less.
Esta canción es como la continuación de la anterior mencionada y es muy loco porque realmente yo soy partidario de que las cosas realmente no regresan, porque, de igual forma, si pasa el tiempo y una persona que estuvo contigo, vuelve a involucrarse contigo, realmente ya esa no es la misma persona que conociste, por lo que realmente no está "volviendo", simplemente está viviendo otra etapa de su vida en donde decide elegirte.
Uno de los errores que los humanos cometemos es vivir estancados en el pasado y siempre deseando que las cosas "vuelvan a ser como eran" pero esa ilusión no existe, el pasado ya fue y si uno puede reparar las cosas, lo mejor es seguir adelante y dejar atrás el dolor, aceptar lo que separó a las personas es el primer paso para unirlas de nuevo.
El día que uno entiende y aprende esto, es el día en el que la vida empieza a pesar menos.
3.- Eva
This song is incredibly beautiful, I feel that this is the definition of what one can feel when you have been single for a long time and a person arrives who represents that "Eve", that is, that complement that was missing in your life and that after having the joy of having him/her walk through it, improving it and complementing your own love, joy and happiness, makes you feel that this was what was missing for life to be life.
Without wanting to think about emotional dependencies, because loneliness is always too enjoyable, but Lasso himself has said it: "what good is happiness and achievements if you have no one to share them with", I think exactly the same, I feel that you will always need an "Eva" in your life for everything to be perfect.
Esta canción es increíblemente hermosa, siento que esta es la definición de lo que uno puede sentir cuando llevas mucho tiempo soltero(a) y llega una persona que representa a esa "Eva", es decir, ese complemento que le faltaba a tu vida y que luego de tener la dicha de que transite por la misma, mejorándola y complementando tu propio amor, dicha y felicidad, te haga sentir que eso era lo que faltaba para que la vida fuera vida.
Sin ánimos de pensar en dependencias emocionales, porque la soledad siempre es demasiado disfrutable, pero el mismo Lasso lo ha dicho: "¿de qué sirve la dicha y los logros si no tienes con quién compartirlos?", yo pienso exactamente igual, siento que siempre hará falta una "Eva" en tu vida para que todo sea perfecto.
Bonus Track.- Yo-Yo
I have reviewed this song before, but today I want to review it again as a bonus track because I really started to analyze the lyrics more closely due to the fact that I have lived a very similar situation; realizing these things, lead you to reflect on why you have really been so hard on yourself in this sense.
Let me explain, the lyrics of the song say that the person in question, let's call him the main character, feels like a Yo-Yo, the classic toy that you throw and it comes back to you thousands and thousands of times and he expresses it by saying it in that literal way, that he feels like a Yo-Yo because he always comes back to that place that is not making him happy.
In my case I went through something very similar, I ended up returning many times to a place where at the end of the day they did not want to make me happy, but it was all a bunch of hidden resentment that only sought the saddest ways to make me feel bad and not have the slightest emotional responsibility and I just stayed there even though I knew it was wrong because I believed that everything would work out in the end, but it did not.
Being a Yo-Yo is the worst thing that can happen in life to anyone, so, if you have the opportunity to be one, make the most of it, it's not worth it.
Esta canción la he reseñado antes, pero hoy la quiero volver a reseñar como bonus track porque realmente me puse a analizar la letra con más detenimiento por el hecho de haber vivido una situación muy similar; el darse cuenta de esas cosas, te llevan a reflexionar el porqué realmente has sido tan duro contigo mismo en este sentido.
Déjenme explicarles, la letra de la canción dice que la persona en cuestión, llámese el protagonista, se siente como un Yo-Yo, el clásico juguete que lanzas y vuelve a ti miles y miles de veces y lo expresa diciéndolo de esa forma literal, que se siente como un Yo-Yo porque siempre regresa a ese lugar que no lo está haciendo feliz.
En mi caso pasé algo muy parecido, terminé regresando muchas veces a un lugar donde al fin y al cabo no querían hacerme feliz, sino todo era un montón de rencor escondido que solo buscaba las maneras más tristes de hacerme sentir mal y no tener la más mínima responsabilidad afectiva y yo solo me quedaba ahí aunque sabía que estaba mal porque creía que todo saldría bien al final, pero no.
Ser un Yo-Yo es lo peor que puede pasarle en la vida a cualquier persona, así que, si tienen la oportunidad de serlo, desaprovechen al máximo ese hecho, no vale la pena.

Conozco a Lazzo de cuando aun vivia en Venezuela y la verdad ha pasado tanto tiempo que no recuerdo que canciones sonaban haha pero me parecio interesante tu post y ahora tengo un poco de curiosidad sobre su musica, el audiovisual de los videos me parecio muy profesional y estetico, sin duda.
