Welcome back to my blog, guys! Today I bring you my classic review to start the week with energy, I haven't posted here for a while, but I always take with me the people who consume my content, so, today I bring you the classic theme of Recent Releases because my favorite artists have released new songs that I would like to comment a little bit and analyze them.
So, with that said, let's get started!
¡Bienvenidos de nuevo a mi blog, chicos! El día de hoy les traigo mi clásica reseña para empezar la semana con energía, tenía rato sin postear por acá, pero siempre llevo conmigo a las personas que consumen mi contenido, así que, hoy les traigo la temática clásica de Estrenos Recientes porque mis artistas favoritos han lanzado nuevas canciones que me gustaría comentar un poco y analizarlas.
Así que, dicho esto, ¡comencemos!
1.- Luna de Miel - ELENA ROSE, Rawayana
I start my review with this song which is a collaboration that I didn't know I wanted to hear until it happened, Rawayana is one of my favorite bands and Elena Rose is one of the most complete artists I have ever heard, with a majestic voice and the best part, is that both are from my country, Venezuela, so, they are also my compatriots and fellow artists, it makes me too happy to see them collaborate on a song together.
Maybe I was expecting a little more, but the song is not bad, it's just not a song I would have expected as a collaboration of this pair of projectazos, but now, really analyzing the whole musical structure, I really like the rhythm, it's a kind of "ballada movida" or "ballada tropical" and it has elements that I think are made for edits for platforms like Instagram Reels or Tiktok, it has that purpose.
A song made for lovers to be able to make beautiful and tender edits with a lot of photos or videos, with this song in the background, it's still cool even if you didn't expect it this way.
Comienzo mi reseña con esta canción la cuál es una colaboración que no sabía que quería escuchar hasta que sucedió, Rawayana es de mis bandas favoritas y Elena Rose es una de las artistas más completas que he escuchado, con una voz majestuosa y la mejor parte, es que ambos son de mi país, Venezuela, por lo que, además son mis compatriotas y colegas artistas, me hace demasiado feliz el hecho de verlos colaborar en una canción juntos.
Tal vez esperaba un poco más, pero la canción no es mala, simplemente no es una canción que habría esperado como colaboración de este par de proyectazos, pero ahora, analizando realmente toda la estructura musical, me gusta mucho el ritmo, es una especie de "balada movida" o "balada tropical" y tiene elementos que creo que están hechos para edits de plataformas como Reels de Instagram o Tiktok, tiene ese propósito.
Una canción hecha para enamorados para poder hacer ediciones hermosas y tiernas con muchas fotos o vídeos, con esta canción de fondo, sigue siendo una genialidad aunque no la esperara de esta manera.
2.- Laguaira - NOREH
It is impossible that Noreh releases a new song and I do not put it in this review, you know that I am a big fan of his music, and in this case, he released a song with afro elements that I love too much, especially because he enhances many Venezuelan elements whenever he can, in this case it is one of the most common sayings in my city, Caracas, "¿como tú sabes que la Guaira es lejos" (how do you know that La Guaira is far away)? To basically refer to the fact that a person who speaks with basis of something is because he has lived it too, even if he denies it.
It is a powerful story of that tension that you live with a person you moved away from and you meet again with that person and he/she starts to question many things that you lived, like trying to judge you but you know very well that that person did exactly the same and that doesn't matter to you, you are just there, again wondering if the feeling is back and you are able to leave everything behind or if pride is too strong to unite you again, it is epic.
Es imposible que Noreh saque una canción nueva y yo no la coloque en esta reseña, ustedes saben que yo soy muy fanático de su música, y en este caso, sacó una canción con elementos afro que me encanta demasiado, sobretodo porque él realza muchos elementos venezolanos siempre que puede, en este caso es uno de los dichos más comúnes en mi ciudad, Caracas, "¿como tú sabes que la Guaira es lejos"? Para básicamente referirte a que una persona que habla con base de algo es porque lo ha vivido también, aunque lo niegue.
Es una historia poderosa de esa tensión que se vive con una persona de la que te alejaste y te vuelves a encontrar con esa persona y empieza a cuestioanr muchas cosas que tú viviste, como tratando de juzgarte pero sabes muy bien que esa persona hizo exactamente lo mismo y que eso no te importa, simplemente estás ahí, de nuevo preguntándote si el sentimiento ha vuelto y eres capaz de dejar todo atrás o si el orgullo es muy fuerte para unirlos de nuevo, es épica.
3.- SILENCIO - Rauw Alejandro
This release I must say that I was impressed because I didn't think Rauw Alejandro would ever deign to do a bachata, even though he really does have a good voice to sing this genre, especially with the evolution of this genre, but this song is very curious, since, it is made as if it were another urban pop song by Rauw, there are things in the structure that could be improved at least speaking as a dancer.
However, the chorus of the song is perfect, it makes me laugh and I find it very curious that there is a part in which there seems to be a "soneo" at the end of the song with some choirs repeating a part of the song and making a dynamic of "question and answer", but it doesn't sound bad, it is an interesting project from Rauw that can be enjoyed and can be choreographed.
Este lanzamiento debo decir que me impresionó porque yo no pensaba que Rauw Alejandro se dignara a hacer una bachata alguna vez, a pesar de que realmente sí tiene una buena voz para cantar este género, sobretodo con la evolución del mismo, pero esta canción es muy curiosa, ya que, está hecha como si fuera otra canción de pop urbano de Rauw, hay cosas en la estructura que se podrían mejorar al menos hablando como bailarín.
Sin embargo, el estribillo de la canción es perfecto, me da risa y me parece muy curioso que exista una parte en la que parece haber un "soneo" al final de la canción con unos coros repitiendo una parte de la canción y haciendo una dinámica de "pregunta y respuesta", pero no suena mal, es un proyecto interesante de parte de Rauw que se puede disfrutar y se le puede montar una coreografía.
Bonus Track.- Berghain - ROSALIA feat Björk & Yves Tumor
This last song I can say with basis that it is not made for music "mortals", that is, for an audience that does not have much knowledge in music because it is very deep at the level of structure; who are used to the urban pop music with gypsy elements of La Rosalía will surely think that this is very strange, however, when I saw the name of the artist Björk, I knew I would hear something epic.
I love too much the soprano register that La Rosalía uses in this song accompanied by a symphony orchestra, it's crazy, the lyrics have to do with the pain that can be experienced in a couple, the concept talks about (assuming) a wedding ring which is being pawned because a relationship is over, the lyrics talk about the pain being very strong but this became a "divine intervention", the fact that things didn't work out.
The end of the video is curious because it makes Rosalia look like Snow White, alone with her friends in the forest, it has many hidden elements that I still do not understand but I will be analyzing it in depth, there are creators who say it has to do with the history of the career of La Rosalia and we know that she makes deep concepts, so it is probably so, but then I would like to understand the end, that's why I brought the song to my review today.
Esta última canción puedo decir con base que no está hecha para los "mortales" de la música, es decir, para una audiencia que no tenga mucho conocimiento en música porque es muy profunda a nivel de estructura; quiénes están acostumbrados a la música pop urbana con elementos gitanos de La Rosalía seguro pensarán que esto es muy extraño, sin embargo, cuando vi el nombre de la artista Björk, sabía que escucharía algo épico.
Me encanta demasiado el registro de soprano que La Rosalía utiliza en esta canción acompañada de una orquesta sinfónica, es una locura, la letra tiene que ver con el dolor que se puede vivir en la pareja, el concepto habla sobre (asumiendo) un anillo de bodas el cuál se está empeñando porque una relación se acabó, la letra habla de que el dolor está muy fuerte pero esto se volvió una "intervención divina", el hecho de que las cosas no salieran bien.
El final del vídeo es curioso porque hace ver a la Rosalía como si fuera Blancanieves, en soledad con sus amigos del bosque, tiene muchos elementos ocultos que todavía no comprendo pero lo estaré analizando a profundidad, hay creadores que dicen que tiene que ver con la historia de la carrera de La Rosalía y sabemos que ella hace conceptos profundos, por lo que es probable que así sea, pero entonces quisiera entender el final, por eso traje la canción a mi reseña de hoy.
