AFRITUNES WEEK 77: Eze Ebube by Neon (Acapella Cover)
I'm pleased to be a part of AfriTunes week 77. I've been MIA for a while because I travelled to my hometown for a short break. Everything was all good until Saturday.
Woke up on Saturday not really feeling strong but I didn't feel like I'm sick. I went about my chores with ease but I had this discomfort in my right ear. I think I have felt the discomfort since Friday but I just wasn't feeling pain. It felt slightly blocked, like water had entered my ear. If I lay down and my right ear is on the pillow, I feel like something is descending slowly, and if I turn such that my right ear is now upward, I feel something going up into my ear.
I picked up some cotton buds and started cleaning the affected part of my ear to see if I could get anything but my ear seemed clean. I had to ask my dad to look into my ear, this he did with the aid of a lamp, yet he couldn't find a thing. I felt very uncomfortable, I couldn't sleep, I couldn't turn my head unnecessarily if I'm laying down because I feel pain each time I try to.
I went to a pharmacy on Saturday evening to at least make consultations. Unfortunately, none of the pharmacists could relate to my pain. I was given medicine for pain relief and an ear drop. I didn't feel better. On Monday the pain became unbearable. I strongly believed I was getting deaf. I was so scared.
I started applying hot balm inside my ear, that's all I could think of. On Tuesday morning, I decided to clean the ear again. This time, I saw some blood and sticky fluid. Instinctively, I knew a boil was growing right inside my ear. It's a very terrible feeling but I'm grateful that I'm getting better.
Also, we're resuming tomorrow and all I feel is gratitude. God has brought me so far and I can tell he'll stick with me till the very end.
I decided to sing an Acapella of Eze Ebube by Neon to glorify God for his loving kindness.. I hope you enjoy the presentation. Thank you.
Lyrics - Eze Ebube by Neon
More than my mouth can testify
More than my mind can comprehend
See I’ve seen the wonders of your grace
I’m so sure that this is not the end
Eze ebube
see how far you’ve brought
Eze ebube
I’m so glad you found me worthy
I can see
I can tell
And I know it’s your grace
All my days I will sing your praise
My heart is full of gratitude
To you and no one else but you
(Thank you Jesus)
Lord I’m here only by your grace
Thank you Jesus for not giving up on me

So sorry my dear, it's really a sad expirence but thank God your are getting better. By the way, your performance was really awesome...
Thank you so much 😌
It is only when we focus on things that we don't have that we fail to see how much God has done.
Lovely acapella
That's true. Lately, the things that has happened to me has made me realize that we should never run out of reasons to praise God. When I feel like my situation is worse, I don't know how God does it but he instantly shows me someone in a more uncomfortable situation. I immediately begin to praise God.
Thank you dear❤️
That's awesome
HEY @didiee I am so glad to see you out here once again, to hear your soothing voice. I am so sorry for the pain and discomfort you had to go through because of the inflammation of your ear. I hope you are totally okay now. please ensure that it gets treated to avoid further occurence.
about your song, this is one of my favourite worship songs and I was literally humming the chord progressions in my head as you sang.
great performance! nice to have you back!
Question, what is Mia? you said in your write up, I,ve been Mia for a while, I cant seem to figure it out.
Thank you so much. I don't even know how this can be treated as it's right deep inside my ears. We can't even see it. I'm basically just taking antibiotics. It's not totally healed but I'm thankful because it's less painful.
I'm MIA it's an acronym for Missing In Action. It's a military term actually. It is used to refer to when a person has disappeared for a certain period of time.
Ohh sorry about that discomfort, well it's good to know you're getting better, please take good care of yourself.
Nice choice of song and voice. Keep it up dear.
Thank you so much dear MOD.😌 I'll get better.
