I have been using Shazam for years, especially when I hear good songs in public spaces. Mostly for curiosity and some for a replay later at home.

I can imagine that it works much better in the original sense when it's not EDM (, which can sound very similar, as you know, with just smaller differences. But I really thought the sound signature would be more unique...) On which styles of music you used Shazam mostly? And I assume it worked great like it should (in the original meaning/sense)?

Mostly old music, which kind of make me think that like oh.. I forget this one...

Some of them are remix one and yes... Sometime Shazam got confused with the beat and rhythms

Oh one more, there were a few cases that Shazam referred the song to the newer remix version, not the old original one

Yes, I know what you mean. Seems pretty much like one aspect of the situation I am facing.

You tried other apps with the same function "Tell me the song?" and can share a recommendation?
