My daughter's first rave
A few months back, I bought tickets for Foam Wonderland. Ever since my wife and I went and saw Excision a few years ago, our daughter has been excited to go to a rave with us, and now that she is 18, she is able to go to some of the raves here.
When we got there, I smoked a joint that I rolled with some of my White Widow that I had grown, and boy was it strong. We had a bit of a long walk to get from where we parked to the venue and by the time we got to the security check point, I was pretty stoned. We could hear the music playing from the outside as we made our way through security.
When we got inside, Awon was playing and it was so cool to see my daughter's face light up as she felt the bass from the music and saw the lights and lasers going all over the place.
There were a few times where things got pretty emotional for us. Like when songs that we have been looking forward to hearing came on and we got to experience some of our favorite songs. My wife, daughter and I have all struggled over the past couple years with depression and really not knowing if we would be here to experience these types of things, so it really was an overwhelming experience to be there together and happy for something like this.
EDM is such a cool genre of music and it really has healed our family. To see some of our favorite artists live was so cool. The lineup for the night was pretty amazing. Things started off with Awon playing for about an hour, then Calcium came on, then Trivecta and Wooli closed things off.
When I got the tickets for the rave, we didn't really know anything about Trivecta, but he has quickly become one of our favorite artists. The song Alive by Trivecta is one of our top songs right now. It is a song about overcoming depression and suicidal thoughts and being excited about life and loving where you are in your life. It definitely hit different last night while we were there singing at the top of our lungs and dancing together.
We had a great time together last night. It was definitely one of the best nights of our lives.

So awesome to see you taking your family to such a special event. Massive fan of Calcium and Wooli, those guys both have so many awesome songs—strong lineup overall, not a bad artist on the list.
Wooli killed it man. The bass was shooting through me. EDM is such a great thing. It was cool being there and seeing everyone just giving for themselves and not worrying about others. I love the rave culture.
So glad you have realized how awesome it can be. So many people I try to convince just think it’s all about drugs and they totally miss out on what’s really possible.
Briddim Bomb is one of my all time favorite songs. Both times I’ve seen Wooli he played that one and it legit had me feeling like a bomb bout to explode at any moment.
A person must go to such places with his loved ones, because by going there, a person enjoys a lot and creates many memories, which people later talk to each other about all these things. About places.
Yes. It is a lot of fun.
