TTT - CHARMING SPEAKS SPANISH
It is another week of the TTT and I have quite the spice to share. For this week, I would be focusing on one person who happens to also be one of the reasons why I get heavy lidded listening to afro songs.
But first what is TTT?
TTT a.k.a Three Tunes Tuesday happens every Tuesday where we get to share three of our favourite tunes maybe from an instrument, or an artist etc. This initiative began with @ablaze and has been nothing short of amazing.
I finally have something to share and it is related to my country style. For years, we have evolved and improved in music. If you don't know, Nigeria has the biggest music industry in Africa.
And now that is out of the way...
FEID X REMA - BUBALU
It is pretty impressive how much Rema grows as a Nigerian singer. Singing in Spanish? Collaborating with these artists? I see a big wave coming and I mean others would follow suit. Unpopular opinion, Rema (with the right resources) will get ahead than the veteran Nigerian artist. He is something else with his voice and music style. Pretty sick. I was really impressed with this one.
BAD GYAL X REMA - 44
Okay. What is going on? I see this one was two years ago? I am clearly clueless about this one. We already see Rema has earned the love of his Indian fans. Now we see the South Americans? Which according to the records, has already happened. That is impressive. Really. I love how much Rema is selling the Nigerian music industry. It is really something to be proud of.
REMA - CHARM
There is something about this song that is hypnotic. Is it the beat or the imagery? I don't know but I have written pretty good to this song and have written a cover too. I am just too shy to sing it...hehehe. It is a type of chill with bae vibe and like the name, it holds some kind of charm over the brain.
Rema has been giving us back to back on his releases. He is the type of artist who doesn't conform or bend in my opinion. His videos tell that he enjoys what he is doing. When he was attacked for his style, he gave more and look, he got the recognition of an Asian country. Why? They love his style. I love his style.
