TTT 181 - When I Fly Towards You OST
Happy Tuesday to all peeps far and wide on Hive. It is a new week and the month is quickly drawing to a close ushering in the spirit of Christmas. A holiday many people look forward to and then some don’t, for reasons best known to them. I don’t know where I stand. It is another holiday to me like the rest but that doesn’t take away the magic of it all. I am looking forward to the new year as I have a strong feeling it is coming with a lot of good things.
This is TTT otherwise known as Three Tunes Tuesday and what we do is share songs or tunes that we really like, all thanks to @ablaze who started this 181 weeks ago.
For this week of TTT, I will be sharing songs that I heard on a series I reviewed yesterday. When I Fly Towards You is the best series I have seen this year. It was wholesome and lovely. Some of the songs (my favourites) are in English, the rest are Chinese. I do hope that you get to see the series too.
The White Coast - Summer Night Open-Air Movie
This one has been on repeat since I ended the series. Why, the lyrics bring back memories of the characters. Also, the lyrics are in English and have that element of longing. I love it. When I finally get to my dream island, I will be listening to this song, that’s for sure.
Li Xueshi, Zeyue, Zhu Yanan - Before
So this one has a French part. I had no idea until I listened to the song in full. It has that ‘broken heart’ vibe and maybe yeah, because one of the couples were separated for a while although they did not even know they liked each other. This is one of the others in English I liked a lot…well, English and French.
Loft Youth - Paige's Summer(佩奇的夏天)2021
This one reminds me a lot of the scenes at the beach and on camping grounds. The summer was very warm and so was their heart filled with love. Love that they graced us, the audience, with, and a story that will forever live in my memory.

Hen Mei Wei - With You(与你共赴)
You know that thing where you don’t know what they are saying but it sounds good and you listen anyway? That is the case with this one. I can just be concentrating on a chore and it pops up in my brain, playing like a record. What I do is take my phone, open Spotify and then hit play. Then I pretend to sing along while trying not to bite my tongue.
This is my second favourite after Summer Night. I don’t know if I will get to watch a series like this one again. We always come across things like this only once in a lifetime. I am hoping that is not the case for me, but anyhoo, I consider myself lucky to watch something as healthy and igniting as When I Fly Towards You.

I really love the vibe of this soundtrack. It is a very relaxing, chill, positive atmosphere, the kind of music you want to listen to after a long, pleasant day. Ah, it takes me back to my stress-free high school days of binging Korean dramas 😂
