Dreem-WOTW S2 R1 X TTT - It is Change

Another Collab between two beautiful initiatives. Don't wanna talk your ear off but I quote @ablaze:

NF - Trauma

The word invisible holds different meaning and yet means the same thing. A child can be invisible to his ambitious parents, a man can be invisible to his philandering partner, a valuable employee invisible to his boss but what must hurt most is the invisible answers we never seem to see.

There are real moments in our lives when we desire a sign. To many of us (people like me) who can get signals mixed up or get impulsive towards making a decision especially when we lack the patience to wait, answers are all we cherish.

We all get to a point in our lives where we need to make life transforming decisions. Where we leave our comfort zones and search for meaning outside our refuge. I have gotten to that point in my life where my mother's arms aren't enough anymore and I yearn to be the one holding, giving and loving.

It is a part of life. We grow to want more and more. It is a cycle that never ends. It hasn't ended for me. As a child, I yearned to be an adult and now that I am in adulthood, I yearn to leave a mark. I want to touch those around me. I don't want to live my life being invisible.

But how do I do that when the answers seem to be under lock and key? Playing hide and seek? Floating somewhere in the stream? How do I become who I want to be when I haven't even discovered who I am?

NF - I Miss The Days

I have been in a place where despair was the daily meal. I did not look forward to waking up or my next meal. I would wake up hollow and filled with anger, guilt and most of all, I was confused. All this time, the answers never showed themselves. I had no idea how to go around the boulder that is my mind. I did not understand how people walked about smiling and laughing when all I could feel was nothing.

See, the word invisible comes with a lot of twists because nothing actually is. The air we breathe, we don't see but inhale and we feel so can we actually call it invisible when it is everywhere? Keeping you and I alive? The spirit within us that we can't see or touch but feed daily, can we say it is invisible when we are constantly working towards our purpose?

No. Invisibility to me has a more beautiful term; Change. Change comes when we find what we couldn't. It is a metamorphosis of things. Have you not discovered that the more things seem harder to get, they more valuable they are? So rare?

NF - Change

This is why we are ever chasing purpose, because it is rare. A man who finds purpose has found life. So I term it change. It took the yearn for change that made our scientists sit and fail over a thousand times to bring to life what was dead.

My yearn for change made me realize that the answer was never far. It was close. So close. It was me. I was the invisibility. I was invisible to myself. I failed to see what I truly carried, what I represent and who I am. As a result, I failed to accept me and love me. This led to my constant depression because I always longed to be somebody else. But change starts with me. With you. With us.

So what is invisibility? Change. When you can't see it with your physical eyes, see with your mind's eye and watch the light break forth!

You are not invisible, you're just breaking through. A metamorphosis waiting to happen. Again, Dear (insert your name), see with your mind's eye and watch the light break forth!
