Looking backwards to Christmas, forward to New Year ... so much to think of, before and behind!

A day late -- no, because Nat King Cole cannot be late with this classic song ... I literally would stop on August 19 and listen to his "unforgettable" voice!

Again, I would listen to this on April 13 ... such a fine arrangement, and I loved watching the notes flow by ... I knew I heard some "churchy" chords in there too!

New Year's is beautifully bittersweet ... our hopes and dreams for the year to come and those fulfilled and lost in the present year sit together for a while ... as it is at this time, when the great Judy Garland's end was nearing, but young Barbara Streisand, a long career still ahead of her, comes to sing with her, and both, together, their history here interlacing in beauty, is so poignant ...

It is definitely a welcome warmth, this season, and in this time in history!
