"Amazing Grace" (Hymn, Public Domain) for post coming tomorrow in Q-Inspired

▶️ Watch on 3Speak

One of my favorite hymns ... one of the favorite hymns of all time ... full of more meaning for me now because literally, through many dangers, toils, and snares I had to come this year ... but the grace of God never has failed me!

The two verses of thirteen available (1) I chose to sing:

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now I'm found
Was blind, but now I see!

Through many dangers, toils, and snares
I have already come
'Twas grace that brought me safe thus far
And grace will lead me home.

I also love this song a lot, it carries a lot inspiration, very emotional.

I love how you sang it. I love how you also smile in between.

Lovely one.

Thank you so much ... I try always to convey the joy of God's grace, and certainly on that day, I felt it!

Yet another great performance, no doubt about that
Please keep in mind our Q community is about stories and writing in relation to music.
Because you created such amazing writeups in the past within our Q community, I'll leave this post visible. But please consider the core of what Q is about for your next contributions.
Please continue with all your HIVE contributions, they stand out in the crowd, that's for sure ;)

This video is going into the next Q-Inspired post in about an hour ... I have to load them up a bit in advance because Threespeak takes its time about getting uploads done ... that can take as much as 24 hours. Now, what I can do is just put them on my own page in advance if that would fit better with the rules; please advise. But do know that I understand ... I'm just never knowing if Threespeak will upload anything in time for me to actually post the video with the Q-inspired post I'm making!

The link to the video isn't in your comment, so I can't advise about it.
To include video(s) in Q-posts is perfectly fine, but what is best is to include a written part with a story of some kind since we are a niche writing corner in the music side of things. Please check the community profile page for what is meant by 'story of some kind', can be a lot of different things.

As I said, the huge written portion is coming in now forty-five minutes, and the video will be in there... in fact it is the key ... but to keep confusion down in the future, I'll pre-post the videos in my own blog some days in advance so they will be ready to go with the written posts in Q-inspired.

Ah ok, now I think I understand you. Am quite slow tonight, so it seems 😂
You could upload to Q, the video I mean, when a little later you add the writeup, PLease make a note for this at the top of the post, or in the post title. We have to accommodate for the missing feature on 3Speak to allow unposted uploads.
The reason for asking this is that I like to prevent others from taking such posts as okay for Q. Personally I like a video to be 1 time on someone's timeline and perhaps is also what you like. When such reasons, therefore the need for a single post, this suggested approach.

I understand and will make a note ... we must protect the community standards, of course.

Here is the main post in question that the video is in, hot off the presses -- https://peakd.com/hive-192806/@deeanndmathews/the-autumn-journey-upward-carried-by-amazing-grace-reasons-illustrated-by-haydns-rollend-in-schaumenden-wellen-with-a-sweet

Just checked your Blog and Post channels.
Why don't you update the text part of the 3Speak video post? Or add the text while preparing the upload of the video? The latter I did whenever I used 3Speak, but this is by now some time ago I used that service. The benefit of this approach: a single post.
When for some reason you like to continue uploading the video in a separate post and use that video to bring your (extensive) stories, please upload the video somewhere outside the Q community. I suppose you may use one of the other music communities with less 'strict' rules on writeups for that.
NJOY today and this coming weekend.

Simple reason: PeakD has drafts, and 3Speak does not. It takes several days to do a long post like that, and that only works in PeakD because PeakD lets me save drafts. I am already started on the next post because of PeakD' capabilities -- there is no way to do that in 3Speak.

I circumvent such problems with UIs and drafting of posts by using a local installation of a markdown editor. Plenty of such editors are available with the benefit that one doesn't have to have an Internet connection when writing. Perfect for some writing in nature or something ;) I have used a local installation of MacDown editor for the last 7 years or so and still continue to use that one. This is for MacBook/Apple. Never tried one for Windows systems, but plenty of them around.

Also, you could consider drafting in PeakD, and copy/paste into 3Speak when preparing the video upload, and when done so, remove the draft from PeakD ;) I know, some of the markdown is different in 3Speak to PeakD, but that can be avoided when getting to know what works and what doesn't work.

I did not know all that was possible -- thank you for the new options!

Let me know when you have questions, I maybe of support somehow.

A screenshot of my MacDown editor, it has this WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) screen. Not 100% correct with how PeakD shows (eg space between title and text is different), but none of the HIVE UIs are showing these types of things exactly the same anyway. After some time working with such an editor and WYSIWYG screen, the differences between this editor and HiveBlog, Ecency, PeakD, Leo are easy to work with.
