Jingle from "The Kites of Gnari'el"
This little tune came to my mind as I was working on a story INSIDE a science fiction story I'm doing over in the Alien Art Hive Community ... a people that does not yet know their planet rotates on its axis and so their sun does not rise is set upon by a wizard who wishes to be a dictator ... but a kite-maker who also happens to be a scientist challenges him on behalf of the people, and says his kites in the morning wind will pull the sun up in the sky on time. Who will win? Listen and find out!
I will have the link to the full story up here as soon as it is done and out in a few hours -- the story about the kites is told by two fleet officers who are great scientists and making enemies among those that care more about power and money than the people ... and, just like Gnari'el stood up for the people, Admiral Benjamin Banneker has something up his sleeve for the haters, with the help of Commander Helmut Allemande!
