Emmure - Solar Flare Homicide - Guitar Cover

Just here to obliterate your ears harder than even Exodia could with a new guitar cover. That's right, I just made a yugioh reference for the literal 2 people on this platform who even know what the fuck yugioh is. Decided to do a throwback cover for a band I enjoyed a lot in my teen years called Emmure. And, funnily enough I'd bet there's also only maybe 2 people on this entire platform who have listened to them before. Emmure is a metalcore/deathcore band based out of Queens, New York that has been around since 2003. They've been a strange band to follow over the years (Lots of history/drama involving these guys), but I always enjoy going back to their first few albums from time to time. This song in particular was one of the last songs they put out that I really enjoyed before I sort of forgot they existed for, like, 7 or 8 years. I've been listening to them again recently though, so I figured why not do a cover of them.

Hope you enjoy, you god damn goofy goobers.

Until next time though. Later!

Thanks, bruvvv. And, nah this is in Drop A. This band plays in only super low tunings and pitch shifts down to Drop G a lot too.

Lol. Fuck, drop A is what I meant. Getting my six strings and seven strings mixed up!

Guess that means I should just get an 8 string so it'd be impossible to mix up 🤔

I, too, love my 7 string guitar and like to stroke it fast and hard.

Great tone, and superb work on those subtle little bends. This was the wake up I needed this morning.

That Schecter is beautiful instrument. I had a very similar six string that was stolen years ago... best guitar I ever played, and I miss it every day.

It's definitely one of their most catchy guitar riffs.
