‎ Hola, amigos. La semana pasada les traje un preludio de Bach, esta semana les traigo una invención a 2 voces del mismo autor. Esta es sin duda mi preferida, ya que su carácter impetuoso sumado a su velocidad rápida me atrajo desde mis comienzos en el estudio de la música polifónica del estilo Barroco, quizá por mi propio carácter en mis años de adolescencia, etapa de mi vida en que la escuché y escogí para estudiar como primera entre el resto de invenciones.
‎ La música polifónica no es más que el tejido de 2 o más líneas melódicas llamadas "voces" que van manteniendo un diálogo, a veces calmado, a veces agitado, con imitaciones y frases que adoptan un rol de preguntas y respuestas. Este estilo de composición fue predominante durante el período Barroco, siendo este reconocido por su característica más notable, su compleja abundancia en todo sentido, visible no solo en la música, sino también en su arquitectura y resto de ramas del arte.

‎Hello, friends. Last week I brought you a Bach prelude, this week I bring you a 2-voice invention by the same author. This is undoubtedly my favorite, since its impetuous character added to its fast speed attracted me since my beginnings in the study of polyphonic music of the Baroque style, perhaps because of my own nature in my teenage years, stage of my life in which I heard it and chose it to study as the first among the rest of inventions.
‎Polyphonic music is nothing more than the weaving of 2 or more melodic lines called "voices" that maintain a dialogue, sometimes calm, sometimes agitated, with imitations and phrases that adopt a role of questions and answers. This style of composition was predominant during the Baroque period, being recognized for its most notable characteristic, its complex abundance in every sense, visible not only in music, but also in its architecture and other branches of art.
