Hive Music Festival Week 142 Round 1-"La Voisine" by Ernán López-Nussa (Cover)

Hola, amigos de Hive. Esta semana les traigo una obra al piano muy sencilla pero a la vez hermosa. Compuesta por uno de los mejores pianistas y compositores actuales de Cuba, el gran Ernán López-Nussa, esta obra forma parte de un repertorio de colección en forma de libro llamado "Veinte Pianos", perteneciente al mismo Ernán. En mi etapa de estudiante conocí su música y caí enamorado de sus melodías tan ricas en materia de expresividad, y de sus armonías que envuelven con ese toque jazzístico al oyente.
Por desgracia no pude encontrar material audiovisual donde su compositor la interprete, pero he tenido la dicha de presenciarlo en vivo en alguna que otra ocasión haciendo despliegue de su habilidad al piano con su trío de Jazz.
Más adelante les estaré trayendo más de su música, por hoy les dejo mi interpretación de "La Voisine" o "La Vecina". Espero que la disfruten y que la música viva por siempre!

Hello, friends of Hive. This week I bring you a very simple yet beautiful piano piece. Composed by one of the best pianists and composers in Cuba today, the great Ernán López-Nussa, this piece is part of a repertoire collection in book form called "Twenty Pianos", belonging to Ernán himself. When I was a student I got to know his music and fell in love with his melodies so rich in expressiveness, and his harmonies that surrounds the listener with that jazzy touch.
Unfortunately I could not find any audiovisual material where the composer performs it, but I have had the joy of seeing him live on one occasion or another displaying his skill at the piano with his jazz trio.
Later on I will be bringing you more of his music, for today I leave you with my interpretation of "La Voisine" or "The Neighbor". I hope you enjoy it and may the music live forever!
