My Love For K-pop Music
Then say music is life and it has power to heal, inspire and even change our mood. For me, I got it came through K-pop a sound I didn’t expect to love, but now I can’t live without.
If I say about one thing that has really touch my heart in the past few years, it is K-pop music. Honestly, It wasn't plan to fall in love with it. The first time I listen, I didn’t even understand the language, but the beat, the dance and the energy was something different. Slowly, it became part of my daily life.
I remember the first K-pop song ever listen to was by BTS. At that time, is a friend was playing “Dynamite” and I just start nodding my head in stylishly. It was catchy, colorful and full of positive vibe. After that, I went to check more songs, and before I know it, I download and I was deep inside the world of K-pop.
One thing I love about K-pop is that it is not just music, it is Ultima performance. The way the groups dance, dress, and connect with their fan is amazing. Even having a bad day, when I watch their stage performance, I forget my stress for a while. It feels like entering another world.
Another group I like is Blackpink. Their songs are powerful and lovely and they make me feel confident. Sometimes when I am walking alone with earphones, playing their music, I just feel like I can face anything. Music like that is more than entertainment, it is motivation that's keep ones going.
Some people may ask, how can you love music you don’t understand? But the truth is, music is universal. Even without knowing all the words, the feelings passes across. And little by little, I even started learning few Korean words just because of songs.
K-pop also teach me something about teamwork. You see how each member has their own role but together they shine brighter cos honestly team work make work perfect. It is the same in life, no one shine alone forever.
So yes, K-pop is not just about sound in my earrings, it is comfort, joy, and sometimes healing. And that is why my love for it keep growing everyday. I could listen to it from my sleep till I wake up.
