Hace muchos 6 años cuando yo vivía en Venezuela tenia la costumbre de tratar de encontrar música nueva que nutriera mis horizontes auditivos y recuerdo que los buscaba por los medios que ene ese momento estaban a mi disposición para trabajar en esta tarea, cosa que no es tan fácil como en estos tiempos donde ahora más bien tengo que alejarme de los estímulos constantes que se nos ofrecen en Internet donde no solo nos dan a escuchar música de todo tipo sino que sobreabundan las malas propuestas que nos inundan los oídos y los ojos con tanta depravación.

Many 6 years ago when I lived in Venezuela I had the habit of trying to find new music to nourish my auditory horizons and I remember that I looked for them by the means that at that time were available to me to work on this task, something that is not as easy as in these times where now I have to stay away from the constant stimuli that are offered to us on the Internet where not only give us to listen to music of all kinds but overabundant bad proposals that flood our ears and eyes with so much depravity.

Esta canción llego a mi en un momento en donde yo me estuve volviendo un ser que era más pensativo e introspectivo y sus letras de verdad que me hicieron pensar mucho y aunque el cantante esta en las antípodas del pensamiento que ahora mismo tengo esta canción no deja de ser una obra maestra que cautiva mucho con su letra y su melodía simple pero con un mensaje muy hermoso que nos transmite el cantautor argentino León Gieco.

This song came to me at a time when I was becoming more thoughtful and introspective and its lyrics really made me think a lot and although the singer is at the antipodes of the thought that I have right now, this song is still a masterpiece that captivates with its lyrics and its simple melody but with a very beautiful message that transmits the Argentine singer-songwriter León Gieco.

Muchas veces no sabemos de donde sacar fuerza y creo que como latinos tenemos esta costumbre de obtener la resilencia a través de nuestra relación con Dios pidiendo diferentes virtudes internas que me he dado cuenta que más que pedirlos a la grandiosa entidad dadora de vida que es para nosotros Dios creo que es mucho mejor cultivar estos dones por nuestra propia cuenta y así sentirnos orgullos de una manera fidedigna de quienes somos y lo que hacemos.

Many times we do not know where to draw strength from and I think that as Latinos we have this habit of obtaining resilience through our relationship with God by asking for different internal virtues that I have realized that rather than asking for them from the great life-giving entity that God is for us, I think it is much better to cultivate these gifts on our own and thus feel proud in a trustworthy way of who we are and what we do.
