Hola, queridos amigos. Esta temática la pensé detenidamente, y luego de reflexionar, recordé aquellos tiempos donde daba clases de música y enfrenté un reto muy especial.

Hello, dear friends. I thought about this theme carefully, and after reflecting, I remembered those times when I taught music classes and faced a very special challenge.

Fue durante la celebración del Día del Idioma cuando me alié con la profesora de inglés para proponer un desafío a todo el plantel educativo donde enseñaba.

It was during the celebration of Language Day when I partnered with the English teacher to propose a challenge to the entire educational institution where I taught.

El reto consistía en nada más y nada menos que cantar canciones en distintos idiomas, promoviendo así el multiculturalismo y el aprendizaje lingüístico a través de la música.

The challenge consisted of nothing less than singing songs in different languages, thus promoting multiculturalism and language learning through music.

De esta iniciativa nació la necesidad de aprenderme esta canción tan fantástica del señor Michael Jackson llamada "Heal the World".

From this initiative came the need to learn this fantastic song by Mr. Michael Jackson called "Heal the World".

Es una canción hermosa que nos llama a crear un mundo diferente, a sanar el planeta y a sanarnos a nosotros mismos primero, para luego poder contribuir a la sanación colectiva.

It's a beautiful song that calls us to create a different world, to heal the planet and to heal ourselves first, so we can then contribute to collective healing.

Luego de todo este proceso, logré concretar que un pequeño coro de estudiantes cantara esta canción en inglés perfectamente, sin ningún tipo de excusas ni limitaciones lingüísticas.

After this entire process, I managed to have a small student choir perform this song in English perfectly, without any excuses or linguistic limitations.

Los estudiantes se entusiasmaron muchísimo con el reto, y la verdad es que guardo este recuerdo con especial cariño, pues demostró cómo la música puede cambiar perspectivas.

The students became very enthusiastic about the challenge, and the truth is that I treasure this memory with special affection, as it demonstrated how music can change perspectives.

Esta canción, junto con la voluntad de crear algo retador para los jóvenes, terminó transformando su manera de ver el mundo y su papel en él.

This song, along with the willingness to create something challenging for the youth, ended up transforming their way of seeing the world and their role in it.
