Hola, queridos amigos de Hive Open Mic. Esta semana, la temática me pareció muy especial, y al reflexionar sobre ella, inmediatamente recordé esta hermosa canción de Jesús Adrián Romero y Marcela Gándara que hoy les comparto.

Hello, dear friends of Hive Open Mic. This week's theme felt very special to me, and as I reflected on it, I immediately remembered this beautiful song by Jesús Adrián Romero and Marcela Gándara that I'm sharing with you today.

Esta canción tiene un significado muy profundo para mí, ya que la escuchaba constantemente durante mi tiempo como profesor en Venezuela. Mis estudiantes la amaban y siempre querían cantarla en clases, lo que creaba un ambiente lleno de unión y emoción.

This song holds a deep meaning for me, as I used to listen to it constantly during my time as a teacher in Venezuela. My students loved it and always wanted to sing it in class, creating an atmosphere full of unity and emotion.

Fue tan especial ver cómo esta melodía trascendía lo musical para convertirse en una herramienta de conexión humana. Enseñé sus acordes no solo en piano y guitarra, sino también en el bajo e incluso en el cuatro venezolano, adaptándonos a los instrumentos que teníamos disponibles.

It was so special to see how this melody transcended music to become a tool for human connection. I taught its chords not only on piano and guitar, but also on bass and even the Venezuelan cuatro, adapting to the instruments we had available.

Los estudiantes que más se acercaron a mí durante esa época quedaron profundamente impactados por el mensaje de la canción. Su letra emotiva y su melodía conmovedora generaban espacios de reflexión y compañerismo que atesoro en mi corazón.

The students who connected with me most during that time were deeply impacted by the song's message. Its emotional lyrics and touching melody created spaces for reflection and camaraderie that I treasure in my heart.

Al ver el tema de esta semana, supe que debía interpretar esta pieza porque representa uno de los recuerdos más bellos de mi vida en Venezuela. Espero que al escucharla, puedan sentir algo de la calidez y unión que yo experimenté en aquellas clases.

When I saw this week's theme, I knew I had to perform this piece because it represents one of the most beautiful memories from my life in Venezuela. I hope that when you listen to it, you can feel some of the warmth and unity I experienced in those classes.
