Why I’ve Been Less Active: Exciting Music Projects in My Studio! + One of my customer's songs

Hi my friends, you might see that I am not as much active as I was before on Hive, but there is a reason and I am going to explain it with one of my customer's songs (A New Persian Pop Song).

Lately, I started advertising my music studio for recording, mixing and mastering, and music production on the Iranian platform "Divar." After a while, I received some messages from people around the new city where I am living now. Since I am close to Tehran, most of the people from nearby areas can see my ads.

After getting messages from three people, one of them came to record vocals for her RnB music, another one needed mixing and mastering for a Kurdish pop song, and the last one was a guy who played Spanish guitar. He came to my studio and asked me to produce and record a pop song in a Spanish style. so we talked about the whole project until I got what he really wanted, and I recorded a live performance of his song to have his original feeling and mood of the song, then I started recording my guitar lines and layers one by one.

While I was working on his project, he was continuing to write his song in his home while he was even in a trip (Cause his lyrics was not completed). The process of recording, composing, and mixing the sounds was really interesting, and I loved what I was doing because, you know, it's music! However, in some cases, when customers ask for complex work on their projects, everything becomes harder, and it takes more days to finish their projects. Sometimes, it even requires the right mood to continue.

Well, this is Ali Nuri, a really kind guy who also became my friend. The project he asked me to work on is called Zohal, an emotional song about love. I produced it in a mix of Spanish and New Flamenco styles with electronic drums. I started with the rhythm, then added layers of fingerstyle notes, followed by a solo section. At the end, he asked me to gradually slow down the tempo until the song finished. I was wondering whether I should record it again or find another way, and then I decided to do it manually with DAW automation.

He wanted the song to start fast and create a cool mood for people listening to it in their cars. That’s why I didn’t add a long intro. In this project (Zohal or Saturn), I used my Nylong Guitar, which is an Electro Acoustic Santana Cut-away Guitar, and also my Electric Guitar in some parts of the song. I used the latest VST Plugins for Mix and Mastering such as new FabFilters.

We are still working together with Ali Nuri. He brought two new lyrics, and I am still busy working on his two new projects.

There is also another customer who came from Tehran. His name is Saber Ghorbani. He brought a song about addiction because he wants to help people become healthy and leave behind drugs and anything that has destroyed their lives and youth.

After working on his project for a while, I finally finished it, and now it just needs some final touches before it’s completely ready.

As this is my main job, I was thinking it is good to also write it as an advertisement of my job here on hive,
