Aura: A Soulful Original Acoustic Music Piece by Davood Faramarzi
Greetings, My Friends!
English:
I wish you a day filled with positivity, energy, and happiness! Let’s make it a good one together.
Today, I want to share with you a piece of music that is very close to my heart. I created it back in 2023, during a unique period of my life. At the time, I had stepped away from my guitar and closed my studio in Mashhad, Iran. I was back home, diving into my studies of Deutsch—a long story, but I’ll keep it short. (Since I had a lot of ups and downs from that time, I didn't continue learning Detusch but it is life you know, we learn and experience a lot of things in our path)
One day, out of the blue, I picked up my guitar, and an arpeggio finger-picking melody just came to me. It felt natural, almost as if I sent the idea straight to my fingers. I played it over and over for days, refining it until I completed the composition. Once it felt ready, I decided it was time to record.
I set up my living room for the session, adding some warm, cozy lighting to enhance the atmosphere. I wanted to create a visual experience that matched the music’s emotional and meditative tone. Acting as my own director, I recorded the video from multiple perspectives to keep it dynamic and engaging for the audience—like a mini-movie, in a way! Sometimes I stick to just one angle, but for this piece, I wanted variety to reflect the mood and feeling of the song.
When I finished, I felt the music needed a name that truly captured its essence. It reminded me of the North and its ethereal beauty, so I named it Aura. I hope you enjoy listening to it and that it resonates with you as much as it does with me.

Wow brother this piece is so beautiful... this song touches my soul thanks for sharing this,
Thank you for your kind comment my friend, I am glad you enjoyed listening to my music 🙏😇
This is incredible :) what an amazing journey your acoustic playing has taken us on! Truly awesome man :)
It is your kindness my friend, thank you so much 🙌🙂
That's lovely. I'm not sure if I have seen you play before. It's funny how a song can just come to us and sometimes it just falls out of your fingers. Have to make the most of those moments.
😃🙌 thanks mate, I somehow know when I can reach that, like when I am alone or if I play at late night, or when I change my guitar tune to something new, and sometimes I change 2 strings to same key to have a folk sound and it is like the instrument became a new instrument, a folk instrument. You are right my friend, I sometimes lost some of my songs because I didnt record some of them. We really have to make the most of those moments. 😇
