Three Tunes Tuesday: Grooving to Naija's Hottest Hits

Hello guys, it's Three Tunes Tuesday already and I have carefully selected three powerful tunes for you this wonderful Tuesday. Trust me guys, this week's selection is hotter than pepper soup on a sweltering Lagos afternoon😂. Don't mind me please.

But seriously, I have carefully selected bangers that have had Nigerians bopping their heads each time they hear these songs. These are tunes that have made grandma and grandpa shake their legs at family gatherings. I wouldn't want to say more than this, just grab your earphones, increase the volume, and get ready to enjoy these tunes.

The first song on my playlist today is "Omo Olope" by Asake. Guys, this Afrobeat banger is a certified earworm and I know so many persons will testify to this. Asake has a very smooth vocals and he uses this to his advantage in making his songs dope and irresistible that you won't even know when you will start moving your body to the rhythm of the song like nobody is watching.

Guys, have you really taken time to listen to the lyrics of this song? It's a playful mix of Yoruba and English and it celebrates the beauty and confidence of a young woman. I strongly believe that this is a message that resonates with every queen out there right? So what are you waiting for? Increase this volume and let "Omo Olope" take you to your happy place.

Believe when I tell you that "Calm Down" by Rema is specially for the lovebirds and anyone who appreciates chilling songs. Rema has a very silky voice and he made sure to whisper promises of sweet romance and stolen moments with his powerful voice in this song.

Trust me, the lyrics are simple and it paints a picture of two souls that are lost in each other's eyes under the moonlit sky. Calm Down is a song you can play during late-night drives since it is a reminder that in the quietest moments sometimes, the most beautiful things bloom.

The last song on my list today is "To Busy To Be Bae" by Kizz Daniel. I don't know about you guys, but to me, this song is pure fire. I bet you know that Kizz Daniel always has a way of weaving words and melodies into magic right? He did just that in this song but be warned guys, this is the kind of song that stays with you long after the last note fades.

To be sincere, I don't know what else to do right now because this song doesn't want to leave my lips. I keep singing the song all the time and I don't know how I got so addicted to it. Is it because I am too busy to be somebody's bae?

So guys, there you have it. I guess you can testify that is is a Three Tunes Tuesday that is loaded with Nigerian hits that are ready to set your week on fire right? So what are you waiting for? Feel free to let the music take you away.

I want you to know that this is just a taste of the incredible talents we have in the Nigerian music industry. I will be back next week with another fresh batch of the Three Tunes Tuesday to fuel your dancing spirit. So keep grooving, keep vibing, and keep tuning in for more Three Tunes Tuesday. Special appreciation to @ablaze for this wonderful initiative.
