Just The Way You Are.

Hello friends, hope everyone is doing good. It's been a tighter and busier time for me lately but I'm giving my best to channel my time resourcefully. Nevertheless, I came across this love song by Bruno Mars which was released in 2010, titled: Just the way you are.

I have learnt that appreciation which does not necessarily mean over-hyping or excessively eulogizing someone is one of the pretty ways through which we exhibit how much we love people. However, as humans, it's easier to appreciate people of our class, families and closer friends than those we probably do not have closer ties with.

We are all born with our respective imperfections, deletions and frailties with everyone doing his best never to be noticed of his imperfect effigy although at some points, those traits show up in order to humble us, which leaves us with the impression we are human.

Factually, we mayn't exonerate this issue from our homes when a husband or the wife starts observing certain irregularities from their spouse or friends noticing abnormalities from their acquaintances. However, in those instances, we have to summon ourselves to the knowledge that we are all humans.

Bruno in his song insisted, just the way you are. There is quarrel, misunderstanding, and segregation in different homes and friendship in general because we have wanted everyone to be like us, we have envisioned people to act, talk or probably be in our level for a free flow of relationship and peace but here lies the problem that everyone cannot be like us. Humans are by default meant to act on grounds of their intrinsic ability and probably adjust based on compulsion and level of docility.

The underscore is that the earlier we understand and also familiarize ourselves with the mindset that people are by default meant to act and behave in different ways, the better we begin to appreciate and accommodate their differences.

We have seen battered relationships both in homes and outside of the homes which is just a product of misconception, lack of appreciation and non acceptability of our respective differences. However, this is why people die fighting for what could have been judiciously managed beforehand.

I once had a serious log ahead with my younger brother in 2022 which prolonged till this year 2024 but just recently, I had to call myself to order and settle with him after realizing I gain nothing keeping those nasties against anyone since we do offend others oftentimes.

The nitty-gritty of my underscore over this symphony is that we have to accept everyone just the way they are. Whether it's, our husbands, wives, colleagues, etc. We need to accept and appreciate them the way they are even if they aren't as perfect as we have expected them to have been.

Nevertheless, let's accept our friends the way they are. Let's keep our children the way they are. Let's accept our spouses the way they are, and when this is done, the world will be a better place for everyone.

It doesn't matter who's right, wrong, perfect or good, rather the knowledge that we are all created with our peculiar traits will propel us to see that perfect behavior and attitude in people even when they are wrong, which is exactly what Bruno Mars underpinned although using his girlfriend as a model. Thank you for going through, do have a great day.

That was a really long misunderstanding but am glad that you settled with your brother. You both now feel at home with each other and that valuable peace of mind. Humans are different and we appreciate that diversity as a gift. Only when we judge others by our standards do misunderstandings happen. Showing appreciation and commending others are rare in society today, but they are the very foundations of successful human relationships.

I hail you Boss, you really made some great points. Yeah I trust that appreciating people will compel us to live peacefully with them irrespective of our peculiarities.

you just reminded me of this great Bruno Mars song, I played it a lot back in the day. You have written very well about this topic and it's a problem which isn't talked about as much as needed in the society. I don't see why a person should go into a relationship with someone else and then try to change the person. if you don't like the way the person is, why go into a relationship with them in the first place? this is why we are having lots of relationships problems everywhere

Absolutely on point friend, I trust that friendship is all about choice and no one gets into it without purpose. However, most friendships have battered given that at the onset, they assumed everyone is perfect and nice but when those intrinsic and real malicious characters pops up, it becomes a problem since the assumption was a perfect person. Factually, no one is perfect but we must choose wisely irrespective of the frailties in people and relationship in general. Thank you for checking in.

Aww what a beautiful song. I love your post because you've said it all. Why go into a relationship and try to change your partner. That's how our society is these days and that's why we see so many unhappy people in relationships.
Anyone who loves you truly will accept you the way that you are, unless it's obviously a good change and growth the person wants for you.

Nice response friend, really no reasonable adult gets into a relationship imprumptuly although many does but we have to accept everyone the way they are since we mayn't absolutely turn their character to suit ourselves. Thank you for the incredible response.

How about people with characters that you can't condone? I mean, for instance, like having my sibling fighting and causing troubles everywhere. Does it mean I needed to accept it that that is who he is?
