A THOUSAND YEARS.

Hello friends, hope we all are good. In today's edition of music inspiration, I would be shedding some light on the lessons that cluster around this pretty song by Christina Judith Perri; A thousand years. This hit track was released in the year 2011 with the album title; The twilight saga breaking down.

The issues of love and togetherness have been a resonating scenario all through the existence of man on planet earth. Every individual has an issue that bothers him at each time. Many people are after money while others are after love and different forms of pleasure. There is never a time when the human mind is idle which nullifies the annotation and adage that an idle mind is the devil's workshop.

I mayn't tell exactly what gave Christina the inspiration for this track but I believe she was moved by the love and affection that rides over the human race. In the first verse of her lyrics, she said:

I knew that I'd found a home for my heart

This is quite an expression of love which negates the proclivity of doubt and uncertainty that comes from conjugality. No one has ever lived a thousand years since the existing of man on earth but Christina expressed through her lyrics:

Darling, don't be afraid, I have loved you for a thousand years

However, we can't concede to the fact that she has lived a thousand years but it's her state of mind in maintaining her promise to her lover. However, it's highly disheartening, disgusting and appalling how people opt for divorce these days with no remorse of any kind. Consequently, couples are to love themselves without reservation because their initial intention and focal point for getting married wasn't geared towards divorce rather to complement each other given any lapses.

The man is meant to love his wife until death extrange both of them likewise the woman is also meant to love and respect her husband. Currently, there is a high level of insecurity in the world, we have it in the industries, organizations and offices. Nonetheless, it's funny how this has intruded into different homes where no one feels secure anymore, both in different homes and premarital relationships in general.

On the other hand, we have seen how the government confiscates people's children on a slight disciplinary ground. Countless times have we also witnessed couples seeking for redress and divorce in court in little matters that can be settled amicably. All these are spots of insecurity in the home and relationship that's stayed abreast for years.

In essence, relationships and homes should be the last resort of everyone, it should be a place where people should find pleasure and peace of mind after the jiggles from externalities. Finally, love between couples and relationships in general should be a long lasting and a lifetime exertion and not instances for learning and dumping one another after discovering their frailties as this stands as a despicable demeanor which is only right in the phase of infidelity between couples.
