Estoy de vuelta con ustedes en esta semana número seis, y con mucha alegría porque les presento un tema que siempre quise tocar cuando empecé a estudiar la guitarra en el conservatorio, era muy extraño para mis compañeros, ya que ellos todos los que estaban en mi grupo de estudiantes, pidieron tocar Nathalia de Lauro, pero yo tenía muchas ganas de tocar esta obra, que me cautivó desde que la escuché por primera vez. Raúl Borges es prácticamente el primer guitarrista venezolano en estudiar la guitarra, en su época había muchos pianistas, y no se conocía guitarristas clásicos, fue después de la visita a Venezuela de un maestro paraguayo llamado Agustín Barrios Mangoré, quien despertó después de su visita por allá por los años 1908, a muchos músicos, el amor por la guitarra. De este gran maestro les presento su bello vals escrito en la menor.
