Hey how’s it going? :)👋

This is my entry for ThreeTuneTuesdays with “3 Mad Creations” on various different instruments and including My Sons birthday present "a kids remote control toy" that has cool quirky sounds that I can play around with on my Loop Pedal.

Here he is chomping down on his Baby Birthday Cake yesterday in his Grans Garden.

He just turned 1 year old yesterday and he's walking and talking and kicking up a few tantrums here n there, wow, the time goes fast! He is number 3 of the bunch!

Song Number 1

This first song I have used various instruments and sounds including:

• My sons birthday present - toy remote control

• 2 Djembes (1 medium, 1 small)

• Melodica

• Pennywhistle (D)

• a Hang Pan/Drum (Celtic Dminor Scale)

• Harmonica (D)

• my Classical/Nylon Guitar (called Walden)

Song number 2

• This next song is a One Drop/Reggae beat infused with Augustus Pablo style Melodica and freestyle classical Guitar with some lyrics from one of my Original songs called "Feels Like Midnight"

• For those of you who don’t know Who “Augustus Pablo” is, he was a Jamaican Roots Reggae and Dub Producer and multi-instrumentalist in the 1970’s popularising the use of the Melodica.

• I said I wouldn't sing because I couldn't be f****d but I did end up singing 3/4 of the way through, I couldn't help it. Maybe I did feel like singing after all, there was so much going on from the previous song!

• The Melodica is basically a bunch of Harmonica reeds that are activated when you blow through the pipe - into the chamber - whilst simultaneously pressing a key (like a piano/keyboard) to release the notes.

• This particular Melodica is "F Dominant" meaning that the key of F, or F# (Fsharp) is best to play in with the most variations in that key, where as most pianos and keyboards are "C Dominant".

• It cost me £45 about 8 years ago , but has probably risen in price since then, but it's a beauty, and a great buy! check out "Hohner Melodicas" UK website and grab one for yourself! 👍

Okay song number 3 is a total piss take

• I used my sons toy again, to loop the sounds. I really had a good laugh, this is Raw, Un-scripted, Uncut, and Hilariously Annoying??/ I Can't Even Call It Music!? 😂🤪 ah jeeez.. well anyway…

• I hope you have a good laugh at me for this - I just couldn't help myself!
