Hello @hiveopenmic and all you 'Beautiful Musicians' and 'Music Lovers' out there!

I am 'Danaidh B' (pronounced 'Danny B' ) posting to you from SCOTLAND!!! ((as I always do)) :)

So, It is great to be alive!! Especially with the beautiful beginning of Springtime arriving and everything bursting into life all over again.

I am going crazy about all the nature bursting out everywhere after seeing very little wildlife and plants after a boring, old, and cold winter here in Scotland, I have not had as much time for music as I had hoped, but here we are again..

haha... Yes, no doubt it was planned, I just wanted to show off my favourite word...

The theme this week is:
"Spring/Easter" and "In God We Worship"

So sticking with the theme 'religiously' (excuse the pun), very close to my heart, I have chosen a man... well... a band, who are completely timeless, still very relevant today.

They are emotionally and spiritually provoking to many, they maintained raw and effortless talent, whilst making one of the most inspiring and prestigious historical documentation of music of its kind.

This band, and one man in particular, stood out above many other musicians for me!!

"They were always there for me with solid advice, amazing sounds and melodies, and bible verses in their lyrics. They got me through some of the hardest times of my life and they are still always there to go to in times of crisis, joy, worship, love, pain, and more!!"

He is One of a kind, He is one of My Favourite Artists and One of the Biggest Musical and Political Influencers and Human Rights Activists of All Time, He created Hundreds of Original Songs and More, He is... Thee One and Only......

Bob Marley!!!

For this week's theme "In God We Worship" I will sing for you all My entry for this weeks @hiveopenmic, which is a Medley of;

"Forever Loving Jah" and "Roots Rock Reggae" by 'Bob Marley and the Wailers'
covered by me, Danaidh B :)

"So for this video, the drums, and backing guitar that you hear; I pre-recorded a drum beat for a couple of bars, played it back on the speaker, then I recorded the chords on the loop pedal, then started soloing away and singing for you".

At one point in my life, I was very Rasta and religious and loved the way Rastafarians spread their word and message through music with a lot of passion and emotion. I didn't like reggae so much, I just liked Bob Marley, and a few other of the greats like Desmond Dekker and Burning Spear, but none were appreciated by me as much as I appreciated Bob.
