Three Games, Three Tracks - Pt. 1

Right well, I'm tired. Sometimes procrastination can lead to some new ideas. I'm unsure if this is a great idea yet, but I think it will be fun and I guess it's not a bad thing to have some fun sometimes.

I have this new idea for a continuous series called Three Games, Three Tracks. I simply share three gif games of chess, and three songs I enjoy. Perhaps a bonus bit of like, something I've been watching on YouTube. Simple. Also, don't the gifs look pretty cozy? It was incredibly tedious to make these correctly. I think they're sweet. I guess this is a way to share some cool art and music I like while creating a unique sort of time capsule I suppose.

Again, I'm tired so this first kickoff post comes not in my most graceful state I guess. But I am sorta excited, sorta proud of myself and going to bed would have felt a bit anticlimactic. I suppose this is a bit of a raw concept that can evolve overtime. But I'm sick of overthinking everything ya know?

I should certainly point out, I'm really pretty bad at chess. I don't know any kind of openings. I don't really have much of a plan going into most matches. Well I kinda do. Move pawns and knights first and like, just go for it LOL. This strategy hasn't really improved my elo score at a rapid pace but, oh well. Chess is just fun.

This game for example was an absolute buzzer beater and I was shocked I won. These games are likely all rapid unless I mention otherwise. I won this one with 10.6 seconds left! I was sooooo pumped.

Song 1. Lil Peep x PIXIES x BONES x $UICIDEBOY$ x Pouya - WHERE IS MY MIND Just a really sweet mashup featuring artists I enjoy released on an underrated channel named Idleglance. Very creative stuff. The video goes pretty hard too.

Another game I had no business winning LOL. I was cornered for a hot minute but somehow chipped away and stayed patient enough to turn the tide. I was thrilled!

Song 2. pink cig - Xanny Bars 222 pin cig can surprise me. Old song, quite interesting. Sad track, but when you're in that type of mood, it can slap.

This game was just pure chaos I don't even know what else to say LOL.

Song 3. Freddie Dredd - What I Mean Old Freddie Dredd. Not gonna say it's one of his best songs but it does make me want to run through a brick wall. I appreciate that energy at times. Simple, raw flow.

These were all rap this time. I won't always post just rap tracks but I do enjoy a lot of this genre.

Bonus content: I was watching this episode of Caseoh playing the viral game Schedule 1 while I was playing these three chess matches. This game is quite interesting, and Caseoh is so funny. He does a great job. Say what ya want about streamers, they aren't going anywhere and Caseoh seems like he was born for this.

So yeah, that about wraps up this first post. Sharing my chess matches with a cool backdrop, some music I enjoy and some YouTube I enjoy. Fun stuff.
