Cool to see you do this! When I saw "Alternative weekend" it actually brought to mind watching "120 minutes" on MTV here in the States, in the mid- to late 80's... it was often the only way we could catch up with the leading edge of the music world in the UK and the rest of the world. Lots of New Order, Depeche Mode, early U2, XTC...

Nice to see someone who appreciates Lush, I love that band and what they did. I do remember 'Alternative Nation' on MTV Europe, in late 1992/ early 1993. It opened my world to other music, as then I was a lot more mainstream. Great times.
To my mind, Lush was one of many underappreciated bands. I still have "Spooky" on vinyl, somewhere...
