My Three Tune Picks
This may not be my first time posting about music, but it’s my first time doing it in the #ThreeTuneTuesday style, which is pretty exciting for me. I’ve seen a lot of Three Tune Tuesday posts in the past, and I thought it was a great way to discover music that people actually listen to beyond just the popular songs of the moment. However, I’ve never actually participated in this initiative before, so I’m taking this chance to share the songs I’ve been listening to lately.

I don’t really have a specific music genre that I stick to because there are times when I enjoy a song regardless of its style. What matters most to me is the impact a song has, whether it’s the lyrics, the melody, or even a music video that gets me hooked and keeps me listening.
I also tend to experience LSS, or Last Song Syndrome. When I hear something I like, I immediately try to find it online or on YouTube to learn its title, and then I’ll listen to it over and over until I either get bored or discover a new one to obsess over (hahaha).
So, for this Three Tune Tuesday session, I want to share the songs I’ve been listening to most often lately, along with some of my thoughts about them and what drew me in the first place.
First on my list is probably the most played song in my Spotify “Liked” playlist. Just to give you context, my “Liked” songs only consist of fewer than a hundred tracks, so it says a lot when a song becomes my favorite among my favorites. :D
Edamame by bbno$ & Rich Brian
I’ve got to say, my first impression of the artists’ names was that they were just playing around, like they weren’t taking their careers too seriously. However, after listening to their music, I realized their personalities really shine through, from the name to the tune and even to the lyrics. They’re cool!
Still The One by Jesse Barrera
This next one is a cover of a classic song by Shania Twain. I’m not usually a bigger fan of covers than the originals, but this one is actually the opposite. I have nothing against the original rendition, but I think this version has a really nice tune, and I genuinely enjoy the modern take on this classic song.
Stan by Eminem
I really enjoy collaborations, especially in music, and the one between Eminem and Dido is one of the most iconic for me. I love the story and the way the song flows as it progresses. There’s a great sense of storytelling in this rap track, and Dido’s intro is the perfect way to set the tone and begin the narrative. Of course, Eminem’s rap and lyrics are incredibly powerful, and the way he weaves the story through his verses is just brilliant. And by the way, the ending is quite chilling... especially the first time I heard it.
Music tastes may change over time, but the songs that truly resonate with us leave a lasting mark. I hope my picks for this week’s #ThreeTuneTuesday inspire you to revisit old favorites or discover something new to add to your own playlist. Until next time, keep listening to what moves you and let the music play on.

I like how you picked songs from different styles, it really shows how music can touch us in many ways. “Edamame” is such a fun track, “Still The One” feels warm and sweet, and “Stan” is just so powerful and emotional. It’s nice to see how each song means something different to you.
