Three Tune Tuesday: From Starboy to After Hours
Happy Tuesday! Joining the #TTT or #ThreeTuneTuesdayš¤š», thanks to @ablaze for coming up with this amazing idea.
I was soooo excited when I first saw the announcement for the final leg of the After Hours Til Dawn Stadium Tour in Asia this 2026. But the excitement quickly turned into disappointment when I realized thereās no Manila, Philippines stop š
As someone who has been listening to The Weeknd for years, this one really hurt a little. Heās one of those artists Iāve always wanted to experience live at least once. What makes this tour even more special is the fact that it could be the last one before he officially moves away from āThe Weekndā name and fully embraces Abel as his new era.
For this weekās Three Tune Tuesday, I decided to feature three of my favorite songs from The Weeknd.
š¶ Reminder
I'll be right there to remind you again
You know me
You know me
The moment the intro starts playing, I instantly know itās Reminder. Thereās just something so recognizable about the beat and the way the song opens. Out of all the tracks from Starboy, this is one of the songs that stood out to me the most. It has this cool energy that makes you want to replay it over and over again.
What I really like about Reminder is how ironic it feels. The lyrics and overall theme are actually pretty dark but the production is so upbeat and catchy. That contrast is probably why it works so well.
š¶ One of the Girls ft. JENNIE, Lily-Rose Depp
I don't gotta be the one, no
I just wanna be one of your girls
Tonight
When this song first came out in 2023, I didnāt expect to like it this much. One of the Girls is an R&B collaboration between The Weeknd, JENNIE of BLACKPINK, and Lily-Rose Depp. The vocals blend together so well!
Iāll admit, Iām not really a fan of the lyrics of this song but the melody is insanely good. JENNIEās voice added something really unique to the track too.
š¶ Save Your Tears
Oh, girl
Said, I'll make you cry when I run away
Girl, take me back 'cause I wanna stay
Save your tears for another
I realize that I'm much too late
And you deserve someone better
I canāt believe Save Your Tears came out six years ago already because it still feels so fresh whenever I hear it. This song was originally part of the After Hours album before becoming one of its biggest singles.
Out of all The Weeknd songs, this is probably one of the easiest to sing along to. It has this pop energy that somehow makes heartbreak feel beautiful. I also really loved the remix with Ariana Grande. Their voices complemented each other perfectly and made the song feel even more emotional.
That's it for this week's TTT. Hope you enjoyed them!

I don't know much about The Weeknd but I remember liking Die for You. That one is just āØšŗš¼, its a chef's kiss! And I don't know the three songs u share here pero the second one sounds so familiar. Parang naririnig ko sya somewhere b4, pero can't remember where. Pero why he'll change to Abel na. He is known as The Weeknd. Baka mag iba na if he become Abel esp if people has no idea for his plan. But anyways, I really like the second song.
I do like The Weeknd as he is a huge fan of the 80s and admits it has an influence on his style, which is my favourite decade for music.
